I too wanted this bag for so long and finally got it last month - Wish I could have found it before the increases but every time an SA said she got one in it was silver hardware. I did save as I bought from Saks with gift cards I earned and received an additional gift card with this purchase! Have you seen the new beige for the current collection I saw it in person and it is to much on the taupe side. Enjoy your beautiful bag - I plan to wear mine both casual or dress.

I just pick up my classic flap 22A today from the boutique. Yes, the new 22A collection is more of a taupe color, must darker than the beige claire.

Congrats, the only classic I am missing and it’s a forever in my wishlist lol. I love the BClair, btw, the other one it is also caviar but all caviars are different and it can vary from season to season, classics like the beige Clair and black could also vary depending on the season and where they are made from, my small CF caviar looks a lot like your beige Clair in the pebbles size and sheen 😊 Hermes and CC are completely different babe, love both brands but Chanel always have my heart, so I understand what you said❤️ 😊

It took me about 4 years to find it in the exact combo y wanted. And asking different SA. 😅

Gorgeous bag - congrats! Outrageous though they made you pay the higher price even though you had already paid for the bag - so unethical! I wish I didn't like the bags so much as I'm increasingly not a fan of the brand as a whole for reasons like your experience, their obscene price increases, the games we have to play to get a bag, etc... They get away with all of it though because it doesn't seem to deter us.

Totally agree with you, the experience was very disgusting, I wish I was not a fan of these, specially Chanel they have bad customer service, comparing to other brands. Seriously they make you feel like they are making you a favor. So unpleasant 😣😖
