You are brave to use the lambskin Chanel in an airport, I don't think I ever could!

I have 3 lambskin Chanel Flap, 1 beige and 2 black. I’m very protective of them, but I do use one of my black Chanel’s more frequently.

I agree!! The Chanel bag is the most versatile handbag! I am addicted to Chanel and own 15 at age 60. I never tire of them.

I am 40 and have 3 Chanel lambskin flap and one pink Chanel bowling handbag, I love them all and plan to collect more, love the lambskin best of all.

My first “Chnizzel” 😂 was caviar but I actually regret not getting lambskin. I fell into the myth that caviar “ages better”. Caviar is hard wearing but it’s way harder to get scratches out - you can get hairline scratches out better in lambskin from buffing. My next Chanel will definitely be lambskin. I love the more luxe look and feel of the bag. I do hate how easily the turn lock scratches.

Monika, does the bottom interior lining of your bag have an air pocket? Like you can press it down a bit? Idk if this is an issue or not.

Thank you so much for this video. I am buying the classic flap in black also. If you could only have one, would you go for lambskin or caviar? I guess your lambskin is almost two years old now, so maybe you have some more experience?

Did you get color transfer on your white CF? I hv a beige vintage maxi, the lambskin feels different than the modern one, its thinner, less trimmed on the strap, its got some grey stain on, i dunno how to remove them. Btw, i would faint to let custom to handle my lambskin CF lol if i want to travel with a chanel, it definitly has to be nylon/ denim or even satin~

Thank you so much for the tip about laying it on its back when not in use. My SA never gave me advice other than how to use the dust bag. Do you think laying it flat will cause the puffy quilting to go flat? Have you noticed that? Thank you! I really appreciate it.

Glad it was helpful! In my case I've had the bag now for a while and it hasn't caused any depuffing at all.

What happens if get some rain on it by accident coming out of a place what do u do

I take good care of my bags, but not baby them to ridiculous point, however, I would never ever travel with any of my Chanel bags and Hermes too, because it equals to 3 months of everyday use, even my Longchamp bags look quit worse after each travel. So perhaps I cant afford to travel with my Chanel and Hermes. As well I dont really understand people who does travel with such bags, even if you dont want to check them in, you can put them in hand luggage, no need to look that fancy in the airport or train station, it is dirty environment.

I would put my bags in hand luggage but unfortunately recently more often the airline sometimes requests to put hand luggage in the checked baggage last minute and you can’t say no. I’d rather keep the bag close to me 😊

Does lambskin tend to flatten after awhile?

not so far after 2 years. I've heard that the flap flaps on vintage ones were produced like that.

Could you maybe carry the dust bag with you and just place the Chanel bag inside with the dust bag open during security checks?

The bag was in a dustbag inside a canvas tote and they still unboxed it
