I think lambskin is beautiful for vibrant colours and caviar looks great in darker colours

I thought i loved caviar until I saw lambskin in store and that was love 😍

Oh yess. It's really hard to choose between the caviar or lambskin for Chanel flap. I just made my mind to the lambskin one recently. It's in burgunday color from SevenFactory and I loved it so much!!

Congratulations on your lambskin bag ! I have the large double flap lambskin with silver hardware because it holds most of what i need . It’s casual enough for daytime but also works at night . Like you,, I don’t carry it to work . It’s my weekend bag and I love it . Hope to see lots more of your informative videos in the new year . Have a merry Christmas and a fabulous new year . 🎄

Lovely videos. I had 5 Chanel lamb skin bags before finally buy my caviar reissue, I can say the caviar got more used because it's so carefree, save from my constantly chipped nails

I think jumbo/maxi lambskin bags are gorgeous! but that's my preference haha i'll just be extra careful not to scratch it!

Beautiful bags! That vintage lambskin was made flat, not because it’s deflated. You can tell because the quilts are tight. Hope you still have that lambskin CF. ❤

Great video!! Super informative with great tips! I have the WOC in caviar and the Trendy CC in black lambskin. Although I love both leathers, I do prefer lambskin. My head understands about durability and longevity and being carefree but my heart just loves the look and feel of the lambskin! When I went to purchase my jumbo classic flap I did a ton of research and ultimately decided on lambskin for the aesthetic (and also the weight difference which you mentioned). I could not be happier with my decision!! I do agree with you that I have to be mindful to not bump into things Bc it is a big bag but I think it’s worth it! We spend so much money on these luxury items and I actually feel good about treating them gently. So yes team lambskin for me! 🥰🥰

I have a lambskin WOC which i love but i want a caviar rectangle mini as my next bag. The lambskin does feel so luscious but i definitely dont want to have to worry about being careful with my bags.

I wanted a caviar but they're no longer available for the Chanel minis... I would consider preloved but so far I am ok with the lambskin - I will say it limits my wear bc if there's any chance of rain I use my LV bag instead

Caviar for me. But because of the price point its so tempting to just get the lambskin.😄 but so true i always go back to i dont want to have to think about getting it scratched when i use it.. and so caviar it is. Then IF i still want a lambskin, ill just get a mini. 😊

Both are gorgeous pieces....That lambskin is totally different than what they make today. I would love to know where you bought your vintage classic flap...I am a silver girl also, and all I ever find is gold hardware. Thank You for this video! Subbed.

Thank you!! I bought the vintage lambskin classic flap from Fashionphile in 2019. I agree with you, it’s harder to find silver hardware on the vintage pieces but they’re out there. Hopefully you will find one that makes you smile!

I got my first piece a couple of days ago and now I want the classic flap, but I can’t see myself paying over $3,000.00 for a bag, but it’s killing not to get it. What’s a girl to do. Enjoyed the video.

I want at least one small bag in lambskin, so i could choose lambskin for rec mini even though usually i prefer caviar! And for bigger chanel bags definitely caviar

In terms of lambskin, do certain colors work better?

Color - Lambskin is better with darker colors because the wear and tear will be less visible. So in theory for darker colors, you can should go with lambskin and in lighter colors you should go with caviar. However, I think colored lambskin is richer and much more beautiful than the same color in caviar.

I don't get why people would spend so much money on a bag just to have to wrap the chain around it. It seems kind of silly to me.
