Same reverence lord Rama, Krishna, Parashuram or any other Vishnu avatars have rendered to Lord of lords Mahadev Shivji by worshiping him. Shiv and Vishnu are one and the same. No one is superior or inferior. Kindly do not bring drift in Hinduism itself. Har Har Mahadev

For Purandara dasa, it is Vittala, for Kanakadasa it is Udupi Adikeshava, for Tyagaraja it Bhagvan Ramachandra etc.. of course our personal choice shouldn't cause rift in our community...
