Hi Batzorig. So emotional to listen. My eyes water with memories of seeing a child Jochi. Playing. Jochi's happiness was very important to Chinggis. I see him being held and smiling into eachothers eyes. Chinggis knew innocence only lasts through childhood then there are many responsibilities. So play was important. I think Chagatai had Jochi poisoned and that's why Chinggis skipped him as an heir and had his 3rd son Ogedei be in power of the Empire instead. The love bond between Chinggis and Jochi was very deep, is very deep. The love survived the hardships and even their lifetimes. I feel Chinggis tried to protect Jochi. Love, Jodi

not everything in our culture is about the wars or masculinity ..the lyrics are about the mountains homeland and father and mother, love and respect and reverence for them poetically expressed , very peaceful and calming ~ the closest sentiment in the western music is perhaps country music like sweet home alabama or new york state of mind ~ there are no many songs about places in the western musical tradition, i guess, at least as far as i know of, while the mongolian songs are heavy on this theme of homeland

I'm so amazed at how your Low scratchy throat singing created that hauntingly beautiful upper register. It sounded like you had a female sighing lovingly above. Fantastic.
