Chamonix Mont Blanc: Travelling France & Switzerland 2022

From going up a snowy mountain, one of the highest points in the Alps, right beside Mont Blanc! To travelling on the Montenvers, eating at local restaurants, trying delicious wine, relaxing in a hot tub overlooking Mont Blanc & its surrounding mountains, visiting the famous Frankenstein's Monster statue, and so much more!
In October 2022, Cameron & I travelled to Chamonix for our 2 year anniversary! (October 30th)
We flew to Geneva, Switzerland, and drove our hire car to Chamonix, France.
This is a long-form video of our trip, and I will be creating a shortened & more concise ‘things-to-do' version in the future.
This is a little different from the general hiking videos I create, but the adventurous spirit & exploration is all there! I hope this gives you ideas and inspiration to travel and explore places like this. :)

Thank you to everyone watching, I appreciate each and every one of you!

Also, my brother and I hiked Hadrian’s Wall to raise money for Mind, we got 55 miles in before we were forced to cut it short due to food poisoning from an Inn we stayed in! We're better now, and will continue the walk this year so if you’d like to donate and support us I’ll add the link below! It’d mean so much, and for a good cause!

Fantastic trip, Jen! I find snow monotonous, so it's lovely to see the towns and villages free of it. Love the colour of Aiguille du Midi rock in the clear air - pale, sand-grey.

Yes it was beautiful! I think that tie of year is perfect for Chamonix; towns still full of colour, not too warm, not too cold, and snow capped mountains 😁

I highly recommend this place because it’s a great little hub, cozy & the hot tub with the views are unmatched - but just a heads up, if you want fresh bedsheets then you have to pay extra (it’s not much, I don’t remember how much exactly though), and when I got there I spent a good 45 minutes cleaning the kitchen. It wasn’t in an awful state, I think it was the sleep deprivation making me panic a bit, the fridge definitely needed a good clean though. The rest of the place was clean enough. And if you want to use the hot tub, it’s an extra cost which is fine (I left the cash on the table for that at the end of my stay) but you’ll need to give the host plenty of notice, as I gave her a good few hours notice and she was fine with it but gave the “more notice would’ve been better” vibe. Again, incredible place though, and so good for the price. Only a short walk from the centre, and the surroundings are straight from a dream 😁

Nice, next time a little more of the camera operator and less of the main character 😉
