If he's trying to bridge the gap, I say he's accomplished it here. Language like "we all stand in service" and "it might be time to pray" are religious, even if it isn't a worship song. It promotes spirituality, while remaining universal enough to have crossover appeal, which is a good thing, imho.

Ikr. Traditional folks. His song might not be a worship song but its a gospel song. Once it glorifies Christ its gospel. Its not really the beat its the message. Songs like these may appeal to young folks like me. What people dont understand is that they are worship / beat songs. This may not be worship because it doesn't really allow you to put up your hand and praise.

its not a worship song.. Its just a inspirational song. Its gospel but theres a difference between worship/ beat . For example, God in me Marry compared to Best in me Marvin Sapp. Worship songs give people more connection to the Holy Ghost. But songs like this dont really involve worship action, but that doesn't mean its unholy.

There is nothing wrong with Lecrae doing a song with her. She is a legend. Its a good song.

I like it. I'm generally not a fan of Christian music which is usually too dogmatic to be truly spiritual, but this is universal enough that it avoids that problem. It's also probably too religious for success on secular pop radio, but then I don't listen to the radio.
