Nothing better than coming back to watch Buckin’ after taking a break from KZread for a while. I absolutely adore this man. I don’t know him personally but the man that comes across on camera is so caring, genuine, & one of a kind. I respect almost anybody that is this comfortable with themselves.

Oh Heck yeah! I have been there, There was a time it seemed I lived there. I can manage some now, I'm nowhere near GOOD, but I can manage. Thanks in no small part to you, dear Buckin', I can even sharpen a passable chain. Thank you for all the teaching you do. Best to you and the family, God Bless

Heck yeah. I'm so befuddled by the process that I bought an auto tune saw so I don't have to. Go ahead, judge me, but I haven't cooked it ;)

I may be seeing things but was the air filter off during most of the adjustments? Genuinely asking, not condescendingly correcting.

I have always struggled to get my saws running the best and never fully understood why. I now understand the low jet waaay better. Thanks a TON buckin!

Leaner is meaner… I have a 365 with a dual port muffler that seems to idle really really low! On a tach it says 3k but it sounds so much lower than my others at 2800-2900. I have played with it but I hate to keep tinkering cause I’m no 2 stroke mechanic.. promise.

Hello brother , just a quick question , how good is a Pro Mac 650 , I have one that runs like a dream but needs the bar break handle cause it is broke ???????

Wonderful to see this video. My brand new 462 has been dying both before and after putting a bark box on it, trying to dial in my low jet has proved tricky. Seems I need to get my idle out of the way and then maybe i can hear it race and find the right lean.

Spot on, one thing that some people don’t realise is exactly what you said about running a rich low speed setting, it can limit your high speed from being able to go lean enough.

Buckin. Another great video for us to learn from. Tuning a saw is very instrumental in making the saw work as it should. Keep the content coming. ❤
@PistonsMcCoy
Thank you for making these videos! I have used them a ton when rebuilding my now complete and ripping Mac 300! For a 58 year old saw it runs amazing. Now I just want to restore more Macs!

Very helpful- Puts a lot things together I have had to learn by trial and error. Getting a good low idle and no lag trigger has always been what I work toward. This reinforced that I am shooting for the right target. Thanks- your always fun and helpful.
