This chainsaw worked well to cut up a pile of cedar logs kzread.infoUgkxfQm1wmg0ItKDLavxj1nXtQY9HP7EF504 and stumps. I used it to cut 12"-16" diameter logs and a handful of odd-shaped stumps that were larger in diameter. There was more than enough power even when using 2x100' extension cords. Be sure to use the right gauge extension cord, since you should be using a slightly higher gauge cord than the standard extension cord most folks have around the house. My 2 favorite features of this saw over previous ones I've used are the built-in sharpener and the quick stop after the the throttle is released compared to a gas-powered chainsaw. As soon as you release the trigger, the chain stops spinning immediately because of the electric motor. Standard feature of most of these electric chainsaws, but worth mentioning here for anyone not familiar with it.Bottom line...I needed a chainsaw to get through some backyard cleanup of logs and tree stumps. For the price of renting a chainsaw for a few days, I got this Oregon chainsaw that got the work done, and now I own it for future use.
As soon as that starts burning fuel in the cylinder the bottom end paint will flake and score the piston real bad . And when the rest of the paint flakes on the outside it will look even worse than before he started . Restoration I don't think so as no seals bearings or anything replaced

A beautifully done restoration. My only concern would be the colour. People won’t understand it. To me a restoration is always back to full factory specifications. So it could be placed in a museum perhaps. Deviating away from stock colour is always going to cause people some perplexity in the future. Anyway - it’s still a very nice bit of work!

A reconditioning for beauty or a professional chainsaw like this must first of all work perfectly. The criterion for which forest saws are in the same color is the following: they can be easily recognized in the forest. Black and white is easily lost in the forest.

very nice. i hope it will hold with time. there's a method to Dye all plastics and it suppose to hold better. give it a try its cheap and easy you will find it easy

チェーンソーも定番のオレンジ以外のカラーがあってもいいと思います。ヘルメットからチャップスまでオレンジじゃなくても（笑）安全確保上なんでしょうけど。

Is the crankcase made of aluminum alloy or plastic as well?How come it doesn't melt when the saw is operating at high temp?Nice restoration sir👌

aluminum crank case, but some small saws do use plastic the bottom end shouldnt get that hot constant cool air flow from intake

Great work. Guy knows what he’s doing but my question is why so much work for a marginally professional saw? The return on all of these parts and labor won’t pay off imho. I’ve done several but only on coveted saws like the old 288xp’s. But I’m not knocking this guys work for sure

Согласен, даже высоковольтный провод не поменян. Вместо щупа- бумажка, масляный насос не проверил, шину и то не выправлял. Дрочево да и только. А что на коленвал смотреть, он, когда маховик снимал, по нему молотком ебанул.

Ez csak optikai tuning volt Norbi! Látványos ugyan, de nekem a láncfűrészes feeling kicsit hiányzott belőle. Semmi mechanikai újítás, dugattyú, vagy csapágy csere, stb.. A vágástesztről nem is beszélve... A csávó egy valódi fotelfűrészes fazon, fingja sincs a gépről...
