You are just like the pizza delivery people. We asked for a tutorial and in just a matter of days we got what our pallet was asking for. Atta Boy Kyle!

Thanks so much!
You are correct… it all depends on the area!!!
Not exactly a new carver, but videos like this are important. When you show a start to finish in one video, of course editing has to happen, it gives your viewer a much better idea of what actually has to happen to make something. It's fine to make a video to show off what you can do, but making a video to show others how to do it is a great gift. I appreciate it, you gave a block out pattern, and good points on when to be careful.

Thank you ! I appreciate this comment
Hi Kyle, one more question if you are tackling questions for beginners in your next video: Why not use a sander instead of an angle grinder? We don't see anyone using sanders. Is an angle grinder much better for smoothing out the chainsaw marks or is it more a question of continued shaping which makes the grinder the more useful tool? Thanks.
Tell us about that extension on the Sand Flex

Something I was working on with a friend but we got busy hope to get back to it and make them available next year
Kyle, those birds are so cheerful. Your videos and carvings are great. I hope to give carving a serious try when I get some decent tools. I know you mentioned using pine for beginners but would spruce be the same? Don't both these types of wood ooze sticky gum though? Why do most carvers remove the bark? I'm thinking it looks nice on the bottom part of the carvings. Is it that the bark will eventually rot or peel off? Birch bark is nice looking, why not leave it on the base? Lots of questions, I know, but I can't wait to give it a real try.

@@KyleHallwoodworker Great, I look forward to hearing your advice.
Great carving! Kyle how much play should I have on a 12” dime tip 1/4 pitch? It’s mounted on a Stihl ms250. How loose should the chain be?
What model of battery stihl is that? Is the blade a different blade than original? Thanks
So cute! Fat and fluffy
