Some biggest fan I am...just now watching this. I really love this wolf! Truly appreciate the rawness of this video with hearing the chainsaw. You do fantastic work! I think those of us watching don't fully comprehend the amount of time, attention to detail, and physical endurance you put into each carving.

I am a Retired & Disabled former Senior Master of Art (teacher) in South Australia. I majored in Sculpture & Design among others. Now I try to relax & watch videos videos of wood carving & turning as it tends to take my mind off of my constant pain. Chad, great work! I have a 60 year old pin oak that has to come down. 3 foot diameter trunk. Was hoping to hire someone to carve a wolf similar to what I just watched you do. Do you know anyone in the St. Louis, Mo. area that could do something like this? I really enjoy watching an artist at work.

I learned how by teaching my self. I would carve all the time and stuck with it. You can learn a lot by making mistakes.

This one is sold. I do have a log that I can carve another one. The price for a painted life size wolf is $2200 and pick up only, can not be shipped. It would take a good two weeks to complete if your still interested.

Very nice. You have inspired me to jump on board. Will try my first art piece in memory of my dear dog we lost 5/25/2020. Won't use a log but will laminate pieces to achieve the desired shape and thickness. Own a cabinet shop so lamination are not a problem, just the layout and cutting will be a new thing for me.
