This is an ol school hit that played here in Cocoa, FL at a lil whole in the wall club called 357, when it played the entire club hit the floor. Definitely an 80's classic. Jam Pony Express was getting their start off by selling cassette tapes from the back of trunks along with other down south Florida artists. Finding this cut have made my night!! Thanks

Dallas Tx house parties would always jam this back in the days

Funny I never knew this song blew up outside of Fresno. I knew the song had made it onto a contest at B95 and lasted 2 or 3 days. This song was made at Ron Kramer's house with a four track recorder. We made the beat on some cheesy beat machine. I remember wishing we had an 808. The deep bass was actually from a keyboard at the recording studio where the final cut was made. The sample is the song on a 12 inch mixed in over the beat machine. Ron Kramer did the scratching at the end.

Man I was in 7th grade when this song came out on radio in Spartanburg S.C Classic!

Yes, this art, so it is our job as the new baby boomers aka Generation X to make sure that our kids know about this group, like we know about our parent's songs i.e. Al Greene, Barry White, so forth and so on. I was in the 8th grade when I 1st heard this, now I just made 34 years old on the 16th of June, which makes the time passed approx. 20 years ago,,, wow!!!! time really flies right. I don't recall a lot of these people being present but it was a long time ago. I remember doing the oh and ahh on that four track. I remember Tony, Tracy, and Ron being in Ron's bedroom. I don't really recall anyone else but I could be wrong. I remember buying the reel to reel tape at the recording studio. We had some great times. Most of us were in the same breaking cru, lol. Recreation street was some of the worst and best times of my life.

Amazing, looking so long for this song.

Props goes out to the DJ's at KDAY whose broadcast we used to pick up way down in Fresno at night. We used to try to record them every saturday night. Ron and I picked up a ton of our scratches from imitating those guys. The first time we heard them cutting up Hashims it's time and back spinning cybotron's R-9 we knew we had some work to do. It takes a bit of practice to get the "it's it's it's it's" timed right. Ron put more work into DJing than most people put into a job...
