💨💨He came to St Jude Hospital in Memphis TN last year and visited all of the children from floor to floor. Even when two of the children came out of surgery he waited for them. The children were calling him Mr Black Panther, Mr Wakanda and Mr T’ Challa. What a nice guy to take the time What a cool guy. 🙏🦾

This clip means so much more now. He saw himself in these kids and their anticipation of the movie, as he describes, but we now know he also saw himself in them in that he knew their fate was his as well. When I first heard the news of his passing I punched my desk and shouted "Not him man!!" I was so angry and annoyed because he wasn't Hollywood, he was talented, humble, private, kind, caring and wise beyond his years, he had the brightest future ahead of him, he was one man that deserved all the blessings coming his way and for his life to be cut short by such an awful disease just broke me... Today I cried for him, it's been a long time too since I cried for anyone or anything....but this hurt man, we lost a good one 😞

I know this may not help....but I found comfort in knowing he wasn't in pain anymore. It is AWFUL that they couldn't cure it or that they discovered it too late...we will never know....but all I know is is that man is resting with the Lord. No longer in pain. No longer having to hide his suffering. Endless bliss. And He, of ANYBODY, deserves that even more 🙂

Chadwick Boseman was not just an actor. He was a hero who fought through the devastation of cancer to produce a flawless performance. However the beauty of this man's story is that it wasnt just a performance. He fought for a cause greater than his own. "Yibambe" means "Hold Strong" in Xhosa and the Black Panther did just that. He suffered in silence so that through him others could one day be heard. In my opinion, that is his greatest feat. Thank you Sir. Your legacy will not be forgotten. CHAD FOREVER!

walterrodney nagumo. Of course it may have contributed to him being emotional. I suspect that he is a caring person in general, also before he was diagnosed. I mean, I suppose he would have been touched by those two children and their story anyway. I just do not think it is the only reason why it made him emotional. Anyway, may Chadwick Boseman rest in power, peace, and paradise💪🏾☮️🕊

This interview should have opened the movie. Yes, it would have been an unconventional way to start out the movie by blurring the lines between the real life man and the fictional character but I think would have been a great way to show the SPIRIT of the real life man that made us ALL fall in love with the fictional character he portrayed..... 🙏🏾🙏🏾

I'm still so sad about this man's passing. Feels like nothing is fair in this world. The good die young and the evil ones live forever so it seems like.

That's why he hurt so bad for those children, I'm hurt that he kept his cancer battle from us. But I understand why he did.

This is beyond what a Man's heart can comprehend....RIP MY LEGEND...

That’s why you gotta go through life with respecting one another. You never know the struggle one is going through behind the scenes.

2 years later and now he's gone. He gave those kids inspiration like he did the rest of us, even though he was going through the same thing. A great man. RIP Chadwick

This man thought very deeply about others. Just the fact that he put himself in those babies shoes, and realized the magnitude of their feelings, and that he could truly relate, says so so much about his character. An amazing and great person! It's such an honor to have witnessed his greatness! Now he can rest, no more pain, no more suffering. The fact that this man was battling cancer himself and wanted to be amazing to finish this movie for kids who were literally fighting for their lives just to see the movie is truly incredible. I didn't know Chadwick personally, but the news of his death shocked me because he had such a presence onscreen or in press interviews like this. And reading that he never revealed his battle with cancer makes him even more noble, and his loss even more painful. He seemed like a truly good human being. :(

This man became Michael Jackson over night. A total hero to those who needed it. And he set aside his own trials and tribulations to give to the youth and his community. Wore a smile the entire time and took pride in being able to a source of inspiration in his final hour. And as painful as his loss may be, I'm so glad he got to leave this earth knowing his legacy would live on in the hearts and minds of so many. RIP King.

I've not seen this interview before but knowing how much pain he's hiding, holding back inside while honouring children who were suffering with a similar condition... That's what selflessness and humility looks like in real human beings. Truly inspiring!

He choose to remain silent about his own suffering to be strong for others. I raise my hat to him truly!

And he was battling cancer himself at the time wow. not publicizing his illness, he put himself aside for others. a true hero.

Coming back to this video after watching Wakanda Forever 😭

At the moment when he started to cry he did not only felt the pain for the kids but also felt that the end of his life is very near

He literally put his life on the line for this movie, so he can fulfill these kids and his fans wishes, this video has a whole different meaning now.

Knowing that he was going through cancer himself, This had totally different meaning now. RIP Chadwick- the real life hero. Will miss you.

Looking back at his acting, we see a man who was wiser beyond time. And that’s where he is now, each recording uncovers a gem that we now understand as his laser focus on his craft. He became the word, the page, the lens. And his gifts keep coming.

He was such a angel to everyone now he’s a king in paradise

This made me cry. When be talked about talking to the cancer patients while he was making the movie. . . And he had cancer. This man had fulfillment and purpose that many healthy people lack. Men walking dead at the age 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80. This man chooses to dedicate sharing happiness with others. He is a true hero. His character is better than the fictional movie. A true man of leadership and courage. A role model all men should also aspire too.

I now admire Chadwick Boseman more than ever. He was so brave as to face the world and be an inspiration while all along he was battling a deadly disease that he knows will took his life soon.

He is such a hero. That man did so much for so many people while he was battling that horrible disease. This video is so hard to watch, especially now. Miss you everyday Chadwick, rest in power🖤

This pulled on my heartstrings. Looking back, now I understand why he went emotional, because he was relating to the battle those kids fought which was a battle most never knew he was fighting himself. Thank you for being a legend, Mr. Boseman. People, especially the kids, will love you for your work and the hero you have brought to life on the big screen.
