The intro exposes my lack of tone quality like no other standard does when I play it. But damnit it's the greatest standard of all time! If there's any one-standard that gets me practicing my long tones (on the rare occasion) it's GOTTA be In a Sentiment Mood. without a doubt.
3:18 this whole run so smoothly and quietly what insane control
Imagine Brecker with the sound like Dexter. That's Chad!

Cant agree with that at all.. Dexter was and still is a one off . Chad is a fabulous player but don't hear his sound to be like Dexter.

Dexter's tone is clearer, darker, kinda more aggressive, and louder. You can immediately tell the difference by listening to a ballad by both players
Stompin' at the Savoy shout out at the end there? I dig it.
love this
I think this is definitely one of my favourite interpretations of dukes classic
Bravo!!!🔥
beautiful, great sound
Sentimental indeed. Thank you for the beautiful uploads.
Magnificent! Great ballad playing ...solo and accompaniment!!!
Great vibe given off here, if I wasn't watching I would've guessed you were playing background music in a pub or restaurant
Expressed Well
Beautiful interpretation....Chad’s sound, phrasing and technique are amazing... I can listen to this song all night long...Thanks Chad!
That was absolutely incredible!! Thank you, one of my favourites and you play it better than anyone else, Chad. 🎷😄❤️

Beautiful tune. Your slow playing is so mesmerizing, you are so good. Thanks for another great jam. Your whole band is the bees knees.
Next to Coltrane's take on the song, this version might be top 2. That's saying something
