Yes and how terrible! One got away an he chased him down and drug him back before killing him. The is torture for he saw his dad killing his brothers an ran because he didn’t want to die! But he got caught! I can’t imagine what was going through his head at the age’s for they were so young and so innocent. They had their whole lives ahead of them! I just don’t understand how any parents could take the life of their own child! Their flesh and blood! I did not know these handsome young boys! But when I looked at photos of them an videos! I saw the cutest loving little boys every that touched my heart and I could have loved them, snuggled on couch with them watching movies! An could love them as my on little boys! My heart truly breaks for their mother I just can’t imagine the pain of the loss she must feel every day from watching those little boys play and laugh. I pray God be with her through all of that and that she’ll find love again. Dear Lord please be with this mother. Help for to be strong.

The only rights that were violated, were those precious baby boys that were murdered by Chad Dorman. Chad is a evil monster. Deserves life time prison. I believe Ohio doesn’t have the DP. Edit 2/24 Ohio DP is a legal penalty, but the Governor has suspended all executions indefinitely.

Ohio does have.the DP and the state is looking to put Doerman on Death Row. (he deserves it, imo) Ohio has temporarily stopped using injections until another way is found. Then they plan to start again.

This guy was more worried about his dogs, himself being “uncomfortable”, his cuffs being too tight and the vehicle being too hot, but never once was he concerned about his own children and what they endured OR the poor mother and sister of his children and the trauma they just witnessed.

Doerman’s lawyers are trying to make a big deal out of what the detective said about Doerman as he sat in the suv. I don’t blame the detective at all for saying what he said especially after seeing those children.

@@9babyblu the detective had asked the officer was that the mother f’er? The officer said yes. Doerman was setting in the back of the suv with the window part down and the door must have been opened a bit for whatever reason. The detective was walking back towards his vehicle and told the officer to shut the door before I ( detective ) kill the f’er.

HIPPA is for medical workers not giving out patient medical information to anyone. Law enforcement are not subject to HIPPA laws.

IMO…we all watched police contact him. He was sitting on his own steps with the gun. He said I did it. Now he wants to weasel his way out of what everyone watched that day? What about his step daughter who was running screaming for help? And his wife? Oh and let’s not forget the little boy he chased down and forced him back to make sure he got all of them!

And that body cam is going to prove that he wasn’t “insane” (which anyone that can kill or hurt a child has something wrong with them imo) but when police got there he was all cool calm and collected. Miranda rights only apply to custodial interrogations. So if he had confessed when they first came into contact with him, they would be irrelevant.

Every citizen in our civilized world has the right to a fair trial. It is unfortunate in some cases, such as this one, but there are many cases where guilt seems obvious but the perpetrator has real mental or other issues. You can't have multiple tier justice. Everyone gets to defend themselves. Yes, it's expensive. But remember the victims, they need Justice and if this demon's right are damaged, he could walk. No one wants that.

Everyone is entitled to a fair trial, and to a jury trial. If he wants to plead not guilty, our Constitution enshrines his ability to do so. The evidence is overwhelming in this case and he will almost certainly be convicted, but it's important for our civil liberties for this right to be exercised and preserved. After all, one day, you or I could be falsely accused of a crime, and we will be thankful that the right exists.

I want to see this guy and Adam Montgomery housed together and have everything taped and recorded between them and see how they get along.

Everyone must have robust representation, else none of us do. Even with that law, there's thousands of innocent people incarcerated. You only get so many appeals. Like it or not, him getting a robust defense is vital to ensure you get the same if ever wrongly accused. Rights are for everyone or no one... Otherwise they're just privileges, ripe for abuse.

​@@dawnw8745the neighbour (British spelling) did see him with the gun outside the home. The wife was shot in the hand by Chad trying to protect her son. Chad has zero chance of now trying to rewrite history and convince anyone with a single brain cell that he is not guilty.

@trinataco4493 what she saw is still in question. Not to mention she is a minor and they can argue she was coached. His defense questioning the position of the gun was key and I saw where he was headed. All that is needed is reasonable doubt, and with today's juvenile Hippa ruling if the confession goes they may get it. Jury's can be tricky.

@@dawnw8745 the wife was shot in the hand by Chad, they will know for certain by the trajectory of the bullet that she couldn't have possibly shot herself, she was also tested for gun residue, there would have been none to suggest she fired a gun. There was also the neighbour who bore witness to what Chad did outside also chasing after the third child and catching up to him. And these are just mere pocket change amongst the huge wealth of evidence they have against him.... He is toast.

The nerve of this guy complaining about his discomfort and throwing a hissy fit because his cuffs hurt. Being hunted down and killed by your own father hurts a lot worse Chad. Running screaming from your stepdad thinking hes going to kill you hurts worse Chad. Being shot in the hand in a desperate bid to protect your kids hurts worse Chad. Being dragged through a trial and forced to recount the horrors of this day solely for your perverse enjoyment hurts so much worse Chad. You are the epitome of evil and you will pay for everything you've done Chad.

Omg, this is infuriating!!! How sick & vile he is… for him to think of his rights to anything after he hunted down his 3 beautiful innocent children and killed them while looking into their eyes is beyond hard to comprehend. I can’t look at him or listen to any of this. It’s too painful. Has his sick cruelty have no end???

All of this to find some detail that will take the death penalty off the table. His attorneys are grasping for anything at this point.

His wife and his stepdaughter know that he killed them boys. They were there! He finally has figured out what he did and now he’s trying to figure out how to get out of it! Thank God for body cams!

Im suprised he is still alive. Thought for sure inmates would do him in! What a waste of tax payer money!! He should already be in prison. And a cop using the language against him is only a human instinct of a normal man overwhelmed by what a human could do to children.😢

The thing a lot of people don’t know is, police HAVE to start cpr on children, no matter the situation. So I imagine most of these officers had a round of compressions on these poor kids.

I saw this not second's after it actually happened and when they went to the front porch I saw the one boys body, I screamed and then I cried and said what kind of monster are you? Neighbors should have reported the prior abuse they witnessed and maybe just maybe, things would be a lot different for those boys! So sad and I'm surprised that the dog didn't bite him for hurting those boys period! Well trained or poor person to be loyal to! smh

Maybe his rage at his wife over wanting to escape from her and the children's miserable life with him, has subsided to the point that he thinks he actually can live a life without them. More than a little too late for the little boys. Hope it's solidarity confinement for life.

This case is deeply disturbing. I can’t wrap my head around this. The last moments of those little boys lives were so gruesome…thy had to have been so confused and terrified. There is no forgiveness or redemption for a crime like this.

God I hope they can use his confession and not put that mother thru that again

I would be too embarrassed to face everyone in the court after doing what he has to innocent, loving, beautiful kids! Defense lawyers have a hard job they have to relive every moment of the punks actions towards the ones that called him dad. The pictures of the crime scene have to be horrible and won't be something that can be erased. This man is now putting an entire court through this process of reliving his sick, cold-hearted killings!

I recall The Behavior Panel mentioning that when a loved one is dead an innocent person will STILL insist on resuscitating. I have one simple question. Who was doing the resuscitation?! Not him. That’s all you need to know in a he said she said. He was sat there overseeing the product of his action. The chaos and pain.

the problem is that he did admit to it without being prompted when the police showed up - that’s why the motion was filed, defense is trying to claim that he was forced into confessing but he was literally found on the porch with the gun that was used and blurted out that he killed them which was on body cam.

I certainly hope they’re not trying to punish the detective or any other officers for anything they said at the scene. What they witnessed should have all of us screaming for justice for those precious boys! Those are REAL men reacting to what a monster did to his own children that he should have been protecting & not what he did!
