Always loved Anabel's playing since I first saw her in San Francisco.

Superb performance.

The dynamics of her interpretation are amazing. There may be other interpretations that are cleaner, but don’t communicate the emotional peaks and valleys of this piece. Bravo!

I cannot go through all the versions of this piece I have, but this one is at least one of the bests of them. Very strong and powerful, and I love the additional notes, compared to the "standard version". I'm afraid I will never play it myself, neither on the guitar, my main instrument, nor the Busoni-Arrangement for piano, of which I also have exquisite recordings.

Soy guitarrista de rock y blues , también algo de jazz pero desde que te he descubierto y ver como tocas la guitarra me he quedado anonadado y me voy a poner a estudiar clásico pero ya.... No tengo unos dedos tan largos y finos como los tuyos , más bien algo "porretos" como Andrés Segovia pero lo voy a intentar. Enhorabuena eres una campeona. This amongst the best performance of the Bach Chaconne that I have heard . Her technique and dynamics are fabulous . My only minor complaint is her guitar . It must be a double top as it is lacking warmth and I find it too analytical sounding . Putting this aside fabulous !

What's a guy gotta do to get a date with Anabel? I'd take a guitar lesson too, but I can't promise I won't just grin and drool like an idiot :) Those cross-string trills get me every time!

you are only allowed to look that beautiful if your playing is flawless. and that is the case!

I am so distracted by what is growing on her arms. It looks so disgusting that I can't listen to what she was playing. I wish Anabel was more attentive to the "health" of her arms.

Nice playing as usual from you. Good but sometime harsh tone. Problem is this is just not a guitar piece and it always sounds forced when played on the guitar. It simply doesn't work on the guitar. It's too much of a violin piece. Same can be said about all of the Bach Cello sonatas being played on the guitar and most of the Violin Partitas and Sonatas and the Bach Lute Suites as well. They should be played on the instruments they were composed for and we should stick to pieces that work on the guitar.
