The. Chacha songs are very relaxing. Every morning when i wake up and rise from bed i immediately dance not. necessarily the chacha dance. but the chacha. tempo. Its now my usual exercise in the morning and even in the afternoon whenever i feel stretching my body. It worked for me i feel young.

OK - forward chasse, back chasse, side chasse, slip chasse, ronde chasse, (hip) twist chasse, regressive 3 cha-cha-cha chasse, progressive 3 cha-cha-cha chasse, compact chasse, and open chasse (also known as the "chasse run" - this is a continunity chasse with no closing of the feet - front open chasse, or back open chasse - and it happens especially in the cha-cha move "There and Back"). These are the 10 chasses I know in cha-cha.

A difficult one - the Follow My Leader (gold syllabus). I love how this step gets me into Open Man's Tandem Position (although this is roughly Man's Open R Shadow Position) and seems to snake around several times in a curve with me doing progressive cha-cha walks and triple locks until the figure comes to an end in Open Facing.

This is International style Cha Cha Cha. ISTD technique. Locks are a form of Chasse action and there are many Chasses in CCC.

@@BallroomMasteryTV Keenly, since I danced both cha-cha styles, let me tell you that American cha-cha, especially at the social level, relies less on the locking actions of the so-called shuffle step, but International cha-cha relies more on locking actions on the shuffle step, and as you mentioned, there are a lot more chasse actions in that style. I also analyzed the Zig Zig Chasses you did in the Advanced Cha-Cha - I describe this as a turning chasse with the first two steps either closing up or in continuity, and the third step always ending with open. Reminds me of something you also see in Standard. (Yea - there are Zig Zags in Standard!)
