Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Fireburst on the Xbox Live Arcade for the Xbox 360 developed by ExDream and published by IndiePub.
Fireburst is a racing game about ill-advised barrels and huge explosions. If you have a pulse, we think your interest should be piqed. Fireburst is an XBLA game with an interesting proposition-catching fire is a good thing. Your car can slowly build up a speed boost that expels flames, exploding nearby opponents. The catch? Your car can't do that for long, and if your car overheats, you're the one exploding into oblivion. Fireburst is about keeping the boost going for as long as possible by stringing together cool-down moments. Smash into a water barrel, drive through a puddle or waterfall-these actions immediately cool your car, which allows you to keep those boosts going. Fireburst features single and multiplayer play.

Why is the in-game camera never directly behind your car? is that by default or is Derrek doing that because that would piss me off?
It's not the exact opposite of Storm, it's just Motor Storm. I'm going to play Excite Truck.
No mention of the wonky camera or motorstorm... head exploding...
Whether it's overheating, higher fuel consumption, weaker shields, or just plain blowing up, the speed boost trade-off has been around for a long time. Also, dat camera angle

I learned that this wasnt from the storm devs. It was originally gonna be a retail game made by Zoo games, who made the worst shooter on wii.
What is with that camera?
They just had to name the Japanese girl in this kind of game "Hanako". Katawa Shoujo fans will know what I mean.
