@@crummybunny777 mental illness are not just demons, rather a rewiring of the brain that causes imbalance to the brain. It can be caused by trauma and genetically. Yes, while God can help you with it, it's not a one time fix. He helps give you peace to live with it, not remove it. Saying all you need is Jesus and everything will be fixed for someone with mental health is like telling someone with diabetes that they don't need to take insulin. Each day God gives me a peace and happiness in helping others find joy during their rough times cuz I understand what it's like. The reason I like CG5 is because he is someone that has mental health and despite it, he has overcome it and shares the positivity with the world. That's what helps me too, that someone out there who understands depression is able to do great things despite it. It has nothing to do with whether I'm a good Christian or not, but rather what makes me smile when the pressure is pulling me down. What I posted wasn't for someone to preach to me when they don't even know my situation, it was for CG5 to know that despite all the hate he's getting, there are a lot of fans like me that loves his music enough to spend an 8 hours road trip to see him in concert. That there are parents like me that lets their kids listen to his music cuz he's a good, positive singer. I doubt he'll see anything I typed, but if by chance he does, I want him to know that despite the haters he makes a difference in someone's day. That's why I wrote what I did.

I’ve been commenting on absolutely everything since I went to see cg in nyc. im judged so hard being almost 17, a long time fan and that I was in a crowd of kids so much younger than me. meeting cg was the most genuine and amazing thing I’ve gotten to experience. pls come back!!

Glad that we all made it through this year together. It even hurt me to see all of the hate towards Charlie but at least we learned that the internet be like that sometimes, and the best thing you can do is ignore it. You can't please everyone, no matter how good you may think your content is. (But if someone is spreading hate instead of respectful criticism, they probably aren't the most mature anyway...) It's incredibly encouraging to see you carry on throughout the tough times. 2023 was a mixed year, but nonetheless, you pulled through and continued doing what you love. If you spent your time in ways you're proud of, then it should be a good year, no matter what. 2023 was an amazing year Charlie. The start of this year was when I first started learning music production more seriously, and you were my biggest inspiration throughout that entire journey. I found out I have genuine depression this year, and one of the things I've done to combat it is to create a playlist of songs that get me pumped or generally boost my mood, and a bunch of the songs I added are yours. The energy and upbeat tone of so many of your songs genuinely help me feel better. Keep doing what you're doing, Charlie, and don't ever let the haters tell you that you aren't good enough.

Honestly, I thought this was a good year for Charlie. I never really paid attention to the hate he gets on TikTok, frankly, I just don’t care for it. So, I’m glad he’s still doing his thing regardless.

Charlie, this is incredible. I would arguably say it is the best song you have ever put out and you made it on a time crunch. You have been through a lot this year, but like Afton, you always come back. 2023 was the year I fell in love with your music and hearing all of my favorite songs sewn together into a beautiful medly made me emotional. Not only that, but of course you also managed to throw some comedy into the mix! Keep doing what you do no matter what anyone says. I can't wait to see what 2024 has to bring! ❤❤
