Спорт
Hey guys, took the cf moto on some single track, did some jumps, did some steep climbs and drops. the bike did really well. only annoying bit was i got some mud in the cooling fan and the noise was awful. other then that it was sweet. Thanks for watching these vids.

Great fun. I'm thinking of getting one, but as an older rider I think I will stick with something like the stock tyres. As you said, the big knobs would be an improvement on the rough but lose performance on the tarmac. I'll take that good advice. I need good grip on the tarmac because I need all the help I can get, but still want to 'carefully' explore interesting places. My mates and I used to do do jumps like that in the bush back in the 1960s. All our bikes were old road bikes we cut down. The tyres were what were then called 'All Weather'. The only dirt bikes back then were professional racing motocross bikes and the like. You guys are spoilt rotten today. Enjoying your videos. Keep enjoying yourself.
It's great to see everyone liking this bike..... just to think a few years ago people would have scoffed at buying a chinese bike.
Hi! Lauren from France. 🇫🇷 What do you think really about the CF 450 mt weight? Is it easy to drive it for off-road ( not hard). Thank you.

It doesn't feel that heavy while riding it off road. You don't really notice it that much if your a semi decent rider
Hey mate, awesome ride! How tall are you and how the bike fits you? Thanks!

I'm 5 foot 10, it fits fine
Hey buddy, just wondering what the road performance is like, can it maintain 120kph and do you know what the top speed is please?
@conandbethdoendurostuff4632

Yea it can do that speed. The top speed is around 135kph to 140kph

@@conandbethdoendurostuff4632 top speed is 155kmh.
looks sounds like it would rather go than slow ?
Put some rear Dirt tyres on it , I’m sure you know. 👍

I'll be putting some mitas Dakar tyres on it at its first service in a few weeks. Still in break in period anyway

@versiononezero I haven't got any yet. I don't have the bike at the moment it am getting a warranty claim done
How’s it compare to a DR650?

Depending on what your use for it is I guess. I haven't had much luck with it and have had some mechanical problems so I can't really say much for it at the moment

@@conandbethdoendurostuff4632 thanks for the update. Lots of folk would be interested in what issues you’re having and if they get resolved.
The wind noise is very distracting from your otherwise good video.

Yea apologies sorry mate, as I said a few times I normally upload for family and friends I've never had videos gain traction like this before. I will deal with the wind noise prior to upload again
The challenge I believe for early adapters is the chines business model has changed to product development for to compete with Japanese and other world class motorbikes at 300 to 700 cc
What do you think? Is this engine suitable for a tour of, say, 10,000 kilometers? I'm afraid it runs at a constant high speed. Won't it fall apart quickly?

The stroke in mm and the speed of the pistons in meters/seconds at max power RPM is a good indicator of the capacity to keep high RPM. It's well known that 20 m/s it's a value no to go over, and around 13 ms is good for long distance. The stroke of the 450 MT is 55.2 mm and the piston speed at 8500 rpm is 15.64 m/s, which is very raisonnable, that means you can stay et 7000 rpm ( ie 12.8 m/s speed pistons) close to max torque forever on a correctly designed and built engine. If I make a lot of road I would change one of the chain pinions to get a better cruising speed at 6500-7000 rpm. The 450 Himalayan has a stroke of 81.5 mm at 8000 rpm the piste speed is an unhealthy 21.73 m/s. That means if you want to travel without prematurely wearing the piston and cylinder it's better to stay under 5500 rpm big max. That gives a very slow cruise speed. I'll remark that the Himalayan stroke is almost the same as a a Suzuki 650 DRSE 1996 82 mm, but the DR had the max power at 6400 RPM (17.49 m/s) with 154 kmh, and the cruise speed was at max 110 kmh (12.8 ms) moment where the vibrations were hitting hard. The RPM are not the problem, the piston speed is the principal value of reliability with the quality of engineering. A Honda CBF 600 revs at 10500 RPM max power (15.82 m/s) and lasts easily more that 150000 km.
