This guy at 17 would put 95% of today CMs to shame. The drive with the ball, the weight of pass. Was a pleasure to watch him represent. 🔴⚪

As a young fan growing up Cesc was one of the reasons I started supporting Arsenal

The fabregas and costa duo was scary. Cesc has to be in the top3 prem midfielders he was in the spains midfield xi which explains it all that spain midfield was stacked with competition that says it all top3 💯

@@martincolton32 Urmm dunno whatthe hostility is about but its far from argument over, Santi i would argue was on the level of a cesc, as I said he didnt have the passing range, but Dribbling, beating the press, both footed and goals he held over Cesc. There are many passers of the ball that can dictate a game like Cesc, Xavi, Pirlo, Xabi Alonso, Scholes, to name a few, but players like Santi are rare, David Silva, iniesta are the two that come close.

Fabregas to Schurrle as his first assist is one of the best in Chelsea history. Deffo top 10 all time.

Do David Silva "When Football becomes art" another one of these elegant spanish midfielders that are being criminally underrated by a lot of people.

THERE is no modern day passer than processes the game faster than Cesc Fabregas .I credit him for the appreciation I now have for FOOTBALL intelligence . Loved him at Arsenal would take him back today .HIS TOUCH NEVER failed .One of the joys of my football watching life .

Cesc and costa link up was unreal the seasons we won the league (14/15) and (16/17)

Imagine Cesc in this current Chelsea team, with Timo making the runs. No one in this current squad can pick timo out. CESC is in my TOP 3 as well in terms of Passing. What a fantastic player!

Excellent video Rants. An outstanding player. The fact that he was only 15 or 16 when he made his debut for Arsenal. Wow. As an Arsenal fan, despite him going to Barcelona and Chelsea and played for both of them, even I really struggled to hate him, because I loved the player so much. I have always respected him as a player. He gave absolutely everything for Arsenal and he really really wanted to win so many more trophies too. He has had a very successful career, especially for Spain as well.

I would say he was arguable the best midfield maestro in the EPL of this generation. Another thing about him was that he could play right across the midfield and even false 9 and he still would influence the game. A beautiful footballer to watch. That Nasri/Van Persie/Cesc combination was telepathic coming from a United fan.

The good thing with this type of baller is that man can play to whenever he wants you lose pace but you never ever lose the vision

Amazing react serie 🙌🏽! But those strikers movements are very underrated

Arguably THE single most important Arsenal player post Highbury and he was only a kid. Take Cesc out of the Arsenal team around 2006 and Arsenal fans wouldn't have been even having the conversation about finishing 4th and that being a failure. Team could not function if he wasn't in that midfield. Cesc was a proper little player carrying the massive responsibility of the team on his shoulders well beyond his years.
