Having studied this topic a few months ago and struggling to understand how the areas were grouped on Guyri, I am now back to study this topic from your lecture and everything now makes sense.

It is face recognition area (area 37). Memory area for for recognition of faces. Lesion in area 37 causes prosopagnosia (face blindness) (Brad Pitt)

A gyrus (plural: gyri) is a ridge or elevation on the surface of the brain. Each ridge is surrounded by fissures known as sulci.

Cerebral cortex is the outer gray matter of the Cerebral hemisphere. It contains all the motor and sensory areas.
