thanks for testing it on non foam builds. there are dozens of sound tests with cerakeys on foam and they literally all sound the same so you cant discern the sound it gives lmao good vid !

the reflections off of the ceramic keycaps look great

I will be picking up a set of these.

Just built my final board, pure black Taco75 from KBDfans with cerakeys and jwick v2 blacks and they're super nice, though I think this keycaps are not daily driver friendly especially if you have sweaty hands.. But its an amazing novelty to have if you are a collector and love trying out different things in this hobby!

thats a mode sonnet tho, also ceramic keycaps work better with foamed builds imo

was just going to say the same thing! Also interesting one was labeled as plateless, can only assume they meant it was a half plate build. That said, I’d be super down for Mode to release a plateless board at some point!

Since I got cerekey keycaps I haven't touched my GMK sets. Love the sound, feel and weight. Go great with Boba U4T switches w 65 or 67g springs

Omg this is the exact same combo I like…my boba’s are with 67g spring paired with the cerekeys are a dream! The typing feeling is amazing

does cerakey come with the board itself?

I think this set seems to work best with foamed up builds. Might work great on the cupid boards since they do foams so well

Have mine paired with lubed Kang White V3 and 70g dual stage springs , they sound and look glorious on my Zoom 75 GT Silver . Any PBT set feels cheap compared to them .

I have a set of V2 ordered, interested to see how they fit now that the stems are plastic. Hopefully much more consistent. Also pretty sure that's a Mode Sonnet, not an Envoy

So, V1 had ceramic stems and V2 doesnt, is that better? its weird how rare is to find photos of the stem or a physical review of them, I was hoping to see it here but nothing.

Owner of v2 set here, plastic stems are better but I still have keys that are not straight and they can easily damage stab stems and make caps sit on them loose

I'd sooner just get ABS caps and use a dremmel to polish them to a shine.
