Westcon Yard Florø have had the boat in for conversion and class.
The modernization includes, among other things:
✅ New skeg and nozzle
✅ New steering gear, rudder, and propellers
✅ Hybridization with a battery pack
✅ CO2 upgrade
✅ New gearbox, shaft generator, PTI/PTO
✅ New main engine and auxiliary engines
✅ New control room
✅ New surimi and fishmeal factory
✅ The entire boat has been repainted.
The result is a forward-looking vessel that reduces carbon emissions by 40% ♻️🌱
With this, Centurion Del Atlantico can continue fishing for many years.
