Central Mongolian nomads. A week with ger ( jurt) dwelling herders.

I spent one week living with nomadic herders in Central Mongolia, close to Little Gobi along the road between Ulanbataar and Kharkhorin ( Karakorum). I was put in contact with this family via UB Guesthouse and yours. This turned out to be an excellent example of community tourism and ecotourism. this is a family with 90 Mongolian horses, 2000 goats and sheep Pluss a few cattle. they live the traditional nomadic way in a ger, or jurt.

Thank you. I was just randomly filing with my phone, the only recording device I have right now, and decided to make a video and post it. The first one in very long time.

This experience was in a way parallel to the wine harvest stay in your guest house. But so different.
