Theres a difference between spoilt and acceptance we were only spoilt in Scotland as only 1 team can beat us to the league we have never pushed forward in Europe in any way shape or form infact we've declined in every aspect of competitive football, throwing away money on shite players in transfer windows every time throwing the league +£60m to our biggest rivals after we apparently won it in October, get humiliated every time we play in any European competitions, pitch at parkhead is a plough field and has as many potholes as the roads around it. Just bring back big ange sack brendan and the board and about 80% of the squad we thought we needed a rebuild when ange came here we need full reconstruction now clean out from top to bottom regardless of who wins this league

Old boys act with the academy, (mccart, mcmanus and o' dea) NOT best people in class. UNDER investment in the women's team (3rd biggest budget in the league!?), shocking waste of money on the men's team, etc etc.

Significant investment considering we barely bring any youth through to the first team. Bizarre stuff

We are producing no players who can contribute to the first team. This is doomed to failure without investing in a modern coaching set up instead of average ex players. It’s not working.

Will the new facilities have disco lights??

What's the point. How many players do we bring to the first team?

Celtic currently isn't a name associated with quality on or off the pitch. Read the room. It's a club that is associated with zero ambition and an unwillingness to consolidate and push on. Winning the league in Scotland with the resources handed to the club by the continued support of the global fanbase, and the abject lack of quality in the league, should mean it's the minimum level of achievement expected. The area where we should be aiming to achieve (Europe) should currently be a cause for embarrassment for the current board, as it is for the fans. So don't think the viewers of this and all the other content you put out dont see it all for exactly what it is. You can't polish a t*rd.

Brendan Rodgers' openly stated goal for his new tenure was to make a dent in Europe. He literally said it in his press conference. We're not asking to win it. But our club didn't even prepare for it again this pre-season. So you see that, to me, is bullish*t. I will support this club through thick and thin, but I will never settle for the board and manager gaslighting the fans. You might be happy to do that but history tells us where that gets us and I think you can see the beginnings of it in the league now. You can see it can't you? Or are you seeing a different product on the pitch than the rest of us?@@christinewilson2348

@@AndyBoy67 Aye, there's no way that's a £6m project, the size of the area, the facilities being put in place, several new pitches getting laid (grass & artificial), permiter fencing, car parks etc. They said "costing up to £20m" and that seems a reasonable figure for this particular project.

We produce so few who make it to the level we need. This has to improve in line with the infrastructure. But if it’s the same people doing the same things, can outcomes be different?

How about you invest in the team & coaching staff. What's the point in a world class training base for the development team, when the coaching team is Sunday league level

I understand the club are trying to recover a bit of goodwill with the fans that put all the money in your little piggy bank, this isn't the way, hardly any youth team players are good enough, and the womens team are just a side issue to the majority of fans, you've given Rangers this league and the champions league money in order to keep them close, so your pennies keep rolling in, its actually worse than no ambition, falsely supporting a rival for the cash flow, i hope no one renews season books or buys shirts until the board are replaced with competent football people.

6m is a pathetic investment in this day and age, everything will be done on the cheap, contracts for the work given to lawwells mates, absolutely pathetic timing also as they know they are sitting on almost 100m of OUR MONEY and doing nothing with it except skimming

Most clubs understand that there are risks involved when investing in new players, but there's no way Celtic will ever put together a respectable run in Europe without investing in the team. Now, through shocking mismanagement they've taken a club in a very strong domestic position and potentially wrecked the next few seasons. They can shout about profits, but how much have they devalued the current first team? 🍀

Haha the club / board really are a joke. Using phrases like ‘state of the art’ up there with the ‘worlds best’ and how the Celtic name is known for quality!! Well lennoxtown was done on the cheap and isn’t fit for purpose. I’ve no doubt barrowfield will be the same. Amazing how all the coaches (like the board) just so happen to be on our doorstep - what a piece of luck! Maybe finding the best people for the job rather than jobs for the boys / yes men would improve us. The only thing world class about Celtic is the fans and the board continue to take the mick out of us. Time for change from top to bottom at OUR football club

Academy is a waste of money! Look at the lack of talent that it’s producing ! The last player produced by the academy that was a proper first team starter was Tierney! Two average players who were both defenders, what do they know about playing as a striker? How far back do you have to go with regards to producing a proper top level striker? Why didn’t Celtic have these facilities years ago, that’s question should be asked. The main stand is actually a health n safety danger, with press conferences done in a tent. Whole club is amateurish from top to bottom, world class my arse.

Zero point even having a Youth system when 90% of them never get a chance, too busy wasting untold millions on duds from around the world, rather than giving local born and bred Celtic supporters a chance to live the dream.

@@alexchalmers3151 This is one part of the equation - the club has been neglectful in other areas, hoping to scrape through season after season without investing when it's been obvious to many where the club needed strengthening. Also, facilities mean little without quality people developing future talent. Building a long term successful future means continually bringing in revenue, and you can't do that without a successful first team - every year we're told how much money will come in with a decent European run, but in recent years we've been dire, and we keep repeating the same mistakes - doing the bare minimum isn't going to build success. 🍀

Tony Ralston, i wouldnt have mentioned. He's really done nothing for Celtic ,and if he did ,he'd be doing it on the park just now, and proving his worth, especially at this moment in time when good defenders are highly needed at the moment. The board thinks spending money on new training facilities is going to make the team better when we've not really had any decent palyers come through the academy setup in year's, with maybe the exception of two or three player's....thats it!!!! I think they maybe should have been thinking about extending the size of Celtic park and with what they add ,letting people pay rather than always having season ticket holders getting first options for tickets etc. Having another 7-10 thousands seats added to Celtic park would be what id like to see done,and of course they'd sell out,maybe not in your average league game on a cold Janurary night,but certainly on big games,so it would add up in the long run ,and it would give an extra 10k Celtic supporters the opportunity to pay into the stadium and have a chance of seeing games whilst bringing in hard cash just with those extra seats. If Lennoxtown csnt produce decent players,then this place certainly wont. A total pontless waste of money. They should have just upfsted Lennoxtown and added to it,whatever it may have needed.

Wow, this is a great clip of a multi-million pound development and all that's to be seen is criticism in this comments section. Given we as a club receive 0.00001%, possibly less television revenue, our club has to keep up with structural developments using other means. If your not happy with investment decisions which are generational, don't renew your season ticket. Others will replace you. In the league structure we play in, we're not going to attract 10-20-30 million pound players, let alone be in a position to pay the wages such players would command in leagues with far larger revenue streams and let's be honest some players in other leagues who have large pay packets are pretty average. It seems some fans of our club need a reality check and when turning up to the stadium support the team and stop expecting to see the same fanfare sky sports affords other league teams.
