Such a god artist saying "I do love this unboxing as if i were a fan". Tom G. just made metal Extreme back in the 80's with Hellhammer and Celtic Frost but listening to him makes me think that he's also so humble and devoted to his fans. You don't see this kinda stuff everyday and it's something special to see. Cheers from Peru. Can't wait to see Celtic Frost live one day!!!

It's always sadly to think about that Celtic Frost doesn't exists anymore since 2008, but we still can see Tom in Triptykon, they play some Frost's songs live!!

Celtic frost won't playing live again, the chapter is closed but Triptykon is there and their songs are in the vein of CF, also they play CF songs aswell 🤘

Every bit of this artwork and photography gave me goosebumps, these guys are fucking iconic in the history of black metal. Glad to see Tom and Reed are still alive and well and got to be involved in this fucking amazing package. RIP Martin Eric Ain.

Legend! One of the most important metal bands, a huge influence on the second wave of black metal.

He is absolutely real and appreciative. Dude is responsible for soooooo much. I mean, he's looking at his creations and really his life basically...and looking at it like a proud father AND fan. You can just see how touched he is.

Into The Pandemonium is my favorite Celtic Frost album, pure art, it was so ahead of everything in metal at that time. Just a masterpiece!

Hans Giger was quite a character himself and not very publicly open either

As a fan of sports, roots reggae, the beach, and mechanical puzzles, it wouldn’t be assumed by most that I am a Celtic Frost fan dating to the mid 1980s. They smashed through my musically closed mind and stayed inside it through the decades. I scored a vinyl box set last week and look forward to opening it!

This is the most stunningly produced box set I've ever bought. It's a total nostalgia overload. Great to see Tom so involved with this, he's such a legend to any metal fan and a man of integrity. For anyone who doesn't have this set, get it. And if you don't have a turntable, get one. This is how these albums should be heard. Just fantastic!

Celtic Frost are the most important extreme metal band of all time

I was at Waken Open Air in 2006 and Celtic Frost was on the lineup. I had never heard their music before and only heard of them by the t-shirts some people were wearing. I was taken aback when I was watching their set. I thought they were going to be just another "Venom" type Black Metal band and had no hope of enjoying it. Just blistering fast power chords, 200 bpm blast beats and vocals that sounded like a diesel engine. It could not have been further from what I heard. I went and bought my Celtic Frost shirt as soon as the show was over. Epic. Then I began buying their albums. Now I am eyeing that box set with lust. I will own it.

Beautiful Set! I haven’t asked Santa for anything in a long time. I think I’ll start believing again. Celtic Frost means so much to me. 🖤

I love Celtic Frost, and listening to TGF talk about his music with immense passion is priceless!

And OF COURSE the vinyl colours are matched to the artwork. Didn't expect anything less from Tom/CF. So many good packages of other records 'ruined' by silly vinyl colours, that don't reflect the artwork. Thank you!

I saw them at Lamours in brooklyn back in 86/87 i believe, I think it was there 1st american gig, not sure, Great show, met Reed St. Mark that evening after the show, He took a picture with me and my crew that nite. Great band!! Good to see Tom Warrior is still doing it...🤘👍

When i was a bored teen in a small Greek town back in the late 80s-early 90s, Tom's music was a refuge for me. Celtic Frost were my absolute favorites. I loved their music, Tom's art and overall aesthetics, i loved everything. Thank you Tom.

I am lost for words... that is one of the best boxsets that I have ever seen. Truly deserved! The melancholy in your eyes says it all, Mr. Fischer. H.R. Giger everywhere... RESPECT.

That's the most bad-ass box set I've ever seen in my lifetime. The vinyl, in particular, seems to be a work of art in and of itself. Great job.

To know and understand where Tom came from, for him to be able to look back at all of this work and be able to say he created it must be wonderful for him. The greatness of these artists I feel is measured in their influence and legacy. The impact Celtic Frost had on the new music genres to come was profound. I knew from the very moment I saw "Morbid tales" in the record store and listened to it as a young teenager, that this band was special. I am very lucky to say that I attended the "To Megatherion" tour, and was able to see them again later for "Monotheist" before Eric's passing, may he RIP. Thanks Tom, for all that you have given us.

If this is really "King", (Kim), you are a huge influence to my writing. I knew you were a Celitc Frost fan. Both , you & Tom are awesome.🤘

I have all the original pressings of those LP's and EP's so I probably won't get this beautiful box set, but anyone that doesn't have these works should consider it if you love metal. It is great to see Tom mention the H.R. Giger art and that they made themselves better to meet the level of artistry on the cover. I know Tom and Hans Ruedi were great friends and he spent a great deal of time cataloging some rare artwork of Giger's and he is dearly missed.

Amazing! So happy to see such treasure coming out. I understand why Vanity and Cold Lake do not feature on this box but regardless of whatever they are still great Albums - together with the best metal albums ever released - and for me they really bear the integrity of Celtic Frost.

I just today received my copy of this glorious LP boxset and historical collection. I can quite happily state that it is in my top 3 of any Heavy Metal (or otherwise) collectible I own...and this is after 40 years of collecting! Thank you Thomas, Martin and Reed (among others) for creating such sonic masterpieces, and thank you to BMG for creating such a wonderous and wonderful collection of some of the greatest, and most influential, music within the Heavy Metal realm.

Poor Oli aka Oliver Emberg got the short end of the stick, he had a reported drug habit got him kicked from the band but I hope he cleaned up, if he's still around.

One of the most influential bands led by one of the most important and influential persons in (metal) music history. Tom is truly one of the greats.

When I was a young man I listened to Celtic Frost for the first time. It was as though I had walked through an ancient portal. The words "Take my soul away into the dark, dreaming 1,000 morbid dreams. No tomorrow when the wind caress my mind. Could I ever return it would be my doom" seemed to echo forever in my memory. They still do today.

Of course true fans followed the band out of the 1980s and Cold Lake followed which I bought new and was disappointed like most after Pandemonium but there were some bright moments like Downtown Hanoi, which I still enjoy anytime on my iPods! Met Tom at First Avenue in Minnesota where I still am, and it still is! Thanks Tom G!!!

One of the greatest metal bands

Tom & I are roughly the same age. I recorded my first demo in 1987. The combo of my misanthropy & ignorance of graphic arts left me holding the music itself & nothing else. For decades, I thought this was part of staying "true". Today, I regret what might have been & miss those fellow artists to whom I never provided work or got to know. Seeing this beautiful collection damn near brings a tear. Youngster: don't be too "elite" to collaborate. ALL of your influences did it & you don't think less of them for it. Plus, if multiple parties have an interest in preserving your work, it lessens the chance that it will lost to the ages.

I still dream (often) of being the bass player in any band that features Tom Warrior on guitar and vocals. I'm old, but I'm still hopeful. 😀

I still have my original Tragic Serenades EP, I'm very proud to say.

Boxset is lit Tom, i so want one. Do agree with you that its great the label worked with you on this as it came out amazing.

Huge fan from Greece since the '80s. I'm so happy to see this box and also for all the small but so important details provided by Tom. I will get the CD box though. The box prices are very affordable as well. Ugh!

at $ 62.00 on Amazon is a steal. Tom Warrior Celtic Frost deserve so much credit for being early innovators in 1984. I remember reading about them in Metal Hammer and ordering the tape. My parents were terrified LOL

I have one of the original pressings, after my mind was blown by Morbid Tales back in the day. This box set looks amazing.

Seen Celtic frost and voivod in Seattle wa back in 84-85 Celtic was touring morbid tales and voivod was touring war and pain album!! One of the best gig I've ever seen and I've seen a lot of bands in my 55 years!!

I will buy the cd and vinyl versions just because Tom approves.
