I am absolutely loving your tutorials! Thanks you so much for showing us all how easy and delightful Celtic designs can be to create. I have been doing them the hard way for years and just gave up cause they looked horrible, but now... Oh my last night stayed up till 2 am watching then drawing and I'm having so much fun!!! Thank you!!! I would watch your videos if they were an hour long! PS Love your little fairy helper, she is really good! You know you need to give them a shiny trinket now and then or they get a little grumpy. So please give her a little sparkly bauble for me and tell her I think she's grand!

Carey Clapp Hi Carey, Nice to hear from you and thanks for your kind comments. Would you really watch them if they were an hour long? I think I make them too long as it is! Glad you liked my magic fairy and your suggestion of giving her a shiny trinket. I'll give her one now as she's not in a very good mood (she's always grumpy when it's her period!)

David (you look like Bogart! Haha!). I just did a similar drawing last week, while experimenting with the Flower of Life, and attaching the pedals with straight lines. It's so interesting to me how The Flower of Life truly IS relative to so many different cultures' artwork. I love it! Thank you for sharing you knowledge so freely. Subbed! :)

This is gorgeous. Could you potentially draw six more hexagons around this one hexagon and then link them all together... Or would you keep them all as separate entities?

Hello David. great videos by the way.. a couple o years ago I made a celtic circle.. I copied it from some drawing..now I learnt from you how to make the squares and so on... but I´d like you to show us how do you do the circles... thank you for your sharing all .
@davidnicholls100

Hi Roy, the example you sent me is a bit like No.17, but in a circle instead of a square. it's definitely four linked trefoils but they have been modified. Don't forget that there are infinite permutations of these patterns. I suggest that you adapt No17 into a circle and then play around with it from there. I'll be doing some more tutorials, but not until the summer as I've got an exhibition in May.
