Because the modern music industry is more concerned with dumbing people down through the garbage they put out. Real talent isn't as promoted by them. We have to go out of our way to find those who don't get the airplay on radio that they should.

There are some things in life that no one should try to improve upon. This song by Celine Dion & Peabo Bryson is definitely one of those things. Pure magic. They were born to sing together.

I just gotta say celine dion is amazing and peabo bryson is just smooth. This is REAL singing right here not the autotuned bull that gets put out now with this new generation. makes me miss the age of a performance live that sounds the same as the recorded version.

yes he has so much range he could sing the tenor lead easily so he switches up and down in his harmonies case in point his 'Bittersweet and strange', just fantastic.

many copied this song but these two are unbeatable.

David Foster playing the piano (he made the arrangement), a symphony orhcestra, and two golden voices. It couldnt get any better than this. And the drummer is a badass too!

I absolutely love how aware of each other they are. They're not just singing on the same stage, they're singing together. Such pure, beautiful harmonies.

Not too often you get to hear an all-time classic performed live by the original artists while they are still in their prime. Spectacular. Even better than the studio/video version.

Their voices during this era were beyond reproach. I have loved the underrated Peabo Bryson since the early 80s. And Celine’s singing here is magnificent. Listening to her work the lyrics and build up momentum is breathtaking.

Everybody's talking about how beautiful was Celine singing this tune, but Peabo bryson was sooooo good himself that he was recruted to do another theme for Disney the next year... beautiful duo, and besides being a John Legend fan, he doesn't get the feeling of the song the way Peabo does.

+Laura Obrien no... The "original" version was the one in the cartoon sang by the woman who voiced the old housekeeper lady turned into a pot, Angela Lansbury. This version was only released in the soundtrack CDs after. But it's arguably the more famous one. So much so they think it's the original. It was very beautifully done.

I'm always astounded at the passion Celine puts into her stage performances. I know she's highly dramatic with her facial expressions and hand gestures but that's what makes them all the more enjoyable ❤️👍❤️👍.
