Checking out the Celestion F12 X200 speakers installed in a Laney 212 Cub Cadet Cabinet - it sounds so awesome! Worth the investment, and easy to install! Also looking into how the speakers react to the new cabinet suite with Line 6's new firmware update!!

Hell impressive !!! I recently bought a Harley Benton Poweramp GPA 100 for building a live rig with my band. I'm planning to send an XLR signal to FOH and an 1/4 output to the Poweramp and de real cabinet. I was searching for a good cab with a good speaker and I found this X 20O is Killing awesome. ! There's no need to bypass de CabBlock. Do you think it's a better choice than an FRFR like the Laney LFR 112 for example? And do you recommend a 1x12 or a 2x12? Greetings from Chile !!!

Hello my friend and thank you! The volume you’d get from a 212 will knock over your drummer lol! I think you would be just fine with the 112 but for metal I’d go with the 212. Thank you so much for checking the video out!

@@ColtonVanceMusic Excellent ! One more question please. I will ask someone to build the cab with the Celestion specs and PDF that appears in their website. It's a cab with bass reflex. What do you think about Ported Cabs? Are they better...? Not too much bass?

@@guille_toledo76 Happy to answer any question as best as I can! I don't have experience with them personally. All I can say is that bass in a live setting is not necessarily a horrible thing but that's just my opinion. You might just want to dial it back a little bit depending upon the venue that you are playing at.

Hey Colton! I'm a Quad Cortex user right now and this speaker solution is something I am super curious about... I currently have the L6 PC+ but I don't think it sounds as good as other options. I want to try the F12 X200 in a Barefaced Reformer cab with a KSR PA50 to power it... thoughts?

I think it’s a a huge difference maker - I have a 412 loaded with Vintage 30s and I have no need to use that cab live now. The F12s are louder and the response feels insanely natural to me. I’d say go for it especially if you have cab sims that you love!

@ShineThroughThisBand I did a ton fo research last night. I've got some updates... Barefaced Audio Reality 112FR. For a power amp... Fryette PS100. If I use the Fryette, it can also be a reactive load for amp captures that I want to do. My buddy has a few crazy amps (Gjika and Two Rocks). That I can capture! I think it will be insane.

@@ColtonVanceMusic im sorry i dont get it. During your band's live performance, do you mic your cab or send a direct signal from your stomp to FOH?

@@jeeeeev No problem - I always mic my cab. My stomp goes direct to an interface for our in ears. We play very small clubs and venues and are usually face to face with the crowd so we rely on the stage volume a lot.
