I have had ADHD for 10 years (diagnosed) and I'm only 14. It is a definite struggle every single day, but I admire him so much for being our voice
Thanks for mentioning ADD! It tends to be overshadowed over the hyperactivity part.
I have ADHD...and I'm proud, because it makes me me!
The fact that he reps adderral makes so much sense!

I also have ADHD without hyperactivity and I take Adderall. I am so grateful for Ty because he is providing a voice for those who have ADHD/ADD.
One thing, in his shows, he is also showing his emotions when he hearing what the story is behind the house or live that people have after something bad has happend to them.
he is an amazing person
That's funny. I myself am putting myself through art school right now, after starting treatment. :) Thanks for the positive view on things Ty!
@CJCody2006 It is. You can be focused, but only on one or two things that trigger your brain in the right way. The problem is, you become hyper-focused, and can't switch from one activity to another and become irritable if someone distracts you from what you're doing. People with ADHD always have an activity that calms them. But from another perspective, we come off as being obsessive and irritable.
I have ADHD since I was four years old I am now 15 the things I have trouble with is hyperactivity and impulsivity and distractibility or short attention span but I am very very hyper I can stay up for three nights if I wanted to but the things I like about my adhd is all the energy I have ADHD feels like a super power and I also have creativity and I love creating things
I have Adult ADD (I wasn't diagnosed until I was 22) and started taking medication for it, and I'm also going through art school. Man the difference that treatment makes, its like having a pair of brain glasses, before I was failing school (well, I failed my last art school, two years in a row), now I'm passing and getting good grades at my new art school. BTW, that t-shirt...
HAPPY BITHDAY TY!!!
omg he talks so fast :o still love him, though :)
@jemmabond You are absoluty correct, I have ADHD, I am 50 , people say I look 40.and my mother in california is 72 and looks 60, also with ADHD. Thanks for mentioning that, I thought I was crazy,,
In my oppinion, ADHD is not as bad as people might think, and I have ADHD myself. I didn't get the diagnose until I was 17, so school was a hell for me, even without all the bullying. But if you get the right treatment for YOU, as no person is like the next, living with ADHD isn't that hard. I've noticed a HUGE difference since I got the diagnose and medication and all. And I don't think that ADD/ADHD is something you suffer from, I think that in it's own way it's a gift.
It's so hard to hold for a person like me w/ADHD to be in a relationship with someone who doesn't have it, nor wants to acknowledge it as a true disorder. "It's all in your head" she says....Well DUH....YOU'RE RIGHT! IT IS!!! *sigh*
Great expression....
