Living with lower back pain since 20 yrs old fast forward to 31, lower back pain still here along with stiff neck/and frozen right shoulder. All the practitioners I've visited does the same thing. Have you tried yoga?? I was once like you, then i tried yoga. Not that complicated yoga move but for new beginner ones. Try the "child pose" its so good to reduce your backpain.

I do my stretches and the cobra is best for me but it's just a temporary thing. I can go for weeks/months with little to extreme lingering back pain. I may have 1 random day to a week of no pain then I get hit hard to the point where every step hurts and trying to stand up straight kills. I'm tired of it

I was also from Toronto and the best I got is half of what this guy does.....he's located in Venice fitness in Scarborough...but if you go on a water fast of 3 gallons a day no food for 3 days all pain goes for a while

While watching the various peoples reactions to the pain of certain adjustments, it seemed like those with the bigger muscles in the area being worked on. It made me wonder if it required more pressure to reach the necessary depth and so increased the pain. Would love to hear if this is anywhere near correct.

I've lived with severe neuropathic pain most of my life, and intractable chronic pain the last 15 years or so. It's bad enough that flying is currently off the table. My dad passed about a year and a half ago and I barely made the flight from WA to CA. But when your mom says, "I need you," you go. Do you ever get up to the Seattle area? My wife sees how much pain I'm in, and she feels it keenly. I wish I could get to Albuquerque as much for her sake as mine. But, honestly, the pain has been so bad I nearly lost everything when prescription policies changed. I finally found a new doctor willing to help, but the degree of help available through prescription medications isn't what it was. So I'm finding myself still in immense pain 24/7. Strangely, though I live with chronic kidney stones, those are a breeze by comparison. I'm honestly afraid to hope at this point, but if you do get up this way I'd love to know so I could connect with your office. Thanks again for your (very concise) reply. :).
