My WiFi has been flashing like green and red Christmas lights for two days. I yelled to my husband-WiFi in his office-is the WiFi fucking up again before noticing I had all my bars. Thank God he didn’t hear me, hard of hearing from getting blown up in Vietnam, because he was napping. He left at 3:30am, drove 3-4 hours, depending on his foot pressure on the gas pedal, and the popo, to a customer in Tenn, we live west of Atlanta, and was back home before 1pm. I would have felt badly if I woke him up. SEE WHAT YOU DID SIMON, HAD BE SCREAMING ABOUT THE FUCKING WIFI AND HAVE ME RAMBLING LIKE A MORON. I’m better now.

Disney's deal was he thought he knew what was best for everyone and didnt realize people wouldn't like having their lives under such strict control.

Epcot did become a “kingdom” in Walt Disney World in Orlando. Where they did indeed make that town of tomorrow. It’s just not as big. Epcot is honestly one of the best “Kingdoms” for adults. I spent my 21st birthday getting hammered there drinking “around the world”. Pretty enjoyable time as an adult. I hated it as a kid.

Celebration sounds like a HOA gone insane. There's no way I would submit to the charter.

I have an idea for a new channel, it’s based on Biographics but it covers fictional characters like Sherlock Holmes, Bruce Wayne i.e. Batman, Huckleberry Finn, Dracula, Dr. Frankenstein, and thousands of others. The characters are endless and many are mistaken to be true people, you could do multiple characters or a single character in a show. The idea came to me when I saw the episode you did on Sherlock Holmes, it was great and left me wanting more. Let me know if you’ve seen this Simon or Danny and I’ll quit posting it.

I visited celebration a few times as a kid (usually because it had the closest Starbucks to Disney and my mom is basic) and I was always obsessed with how cute and perfect it was and my mom was so creeped out by the place and always said it was for the Stepford Wives.

Uh yeah, hey. I lived in northern Virginia, just outside DC, and I was suspended for walking to school instead of taking the bus, even though the bus stop was further from my home than the school, whose grounds literally started right past my back yard. So it's not uniquely Disney weird.

As a person from Orlando, I live near-ish Celebration. When it first opened, people kept wanting to meet there for lunch. I went twice. Had a panic attack both times. Yeah... it’s quite unnerving, as if the whole town has the ‘Uncanny Valley’ effect. But I am naturally inclined to distrust things like shiny facades, fake birdsong & BGM in a ‘real-world’ scenario. Probably comes from growing up around theme parks. BTW, I never knew so many people from my area would be distressed by the Osceola pronunciation! All tourists fail trying to say Kissimmee, so I assumed it was understood that our area should come with a pronunciation guide. (Though I admit I hadn’t a clue you meant Osceola when you first pronounced it! After that, I just enjoyed the linguistic journey into imagination.) On the upside, we have a kinship with Danny due to Rotherham! ETA: 16:04, did Sam use Wayne Brady because he worked at WDW? Genius!

seriously tho i love it! it's nice to see Simon do a format that he clearly loves doing. i feel like we get to see behind the curtain a little. More Simon is always a good thing ive learned :) kinda like when you're going to your least favorite class, only to see that the normal teachers out sick and the Substitute is the awesome guy that puts on questionably acceptable movies, and he's there for the week!

I recommend watching the movie "the Florida project" it's about what celebration has become lately. Wizard gift stores, giant ice cream cones, etc. Theres even a new margaritaville hotel now. I'm very familiar with this street lol

Celebration is still nice I go often. I saw the Florida Project and yes that is outside the master plan community of celebration it’s still several miles down the road of 192 before you run into all those t-shirt shops and motels.

There's a Cracked Article on Celebration worth reading after watching this aand it just makes me glad I don't live in Floridaland. Love the video Simon, Danny, and Sam! :)
