Jerry Simon loved Portillo. At the request of his wife, Barbara Alley Simon, some of his ashes were given to the wind in Portillo. The celebration was led by John Clendenin with music by Russell Phillips. The members of the Clendenin Ski Camp attended.

Jerry was legendary in the ski industry and was a pioneer in promoting this sport that we enjoy to this day. Barbara, also is an amazing woman who is always in positive spirits and her and Jerry truly loved each other.
