Celebration Key May Update: Find out what’s coming to Carnival’s new private Caribbean destination

We’ve been following all things Celebration Key for months now - so when this week's news hit, we dug right in and recorded a quick video for you to recap all of the new developments.
On March 22, 2024, Carnival Cruise Line released information about the first two portals that will be featured at their private destination: Paradise Plaza and Calypso Lagoon.
This week, they released details on the family friendly portal, Starfish Lagoon. And previously, they announced the new retail portal Lokono Cove.
Starfish Lagoon promises kids and parents alike with lots to do. From new details about the waterslides to splash pads for the little ones. Sports Court makes an appearance along with a new word Carnival coined: AquaBanas.
Lokono Cove has all sorts of shopping. From locally-inspired Bahamian souvenirs to diamonds. It serves as the gateway to Grand Bahama.
So, jump in with us as we quickly walk through the latest update from Carnival Cruise Line about Celebration Key.
Carnival promises more information about the Adults Only Retreat "soon." Once we have details, we'll bring you another update!

Yes! I think that sounds like a wonderful idea, Tom! Rocky and I keep talking about it; we just need to pull the trigger! And one for rum and rum for all!
I can see the only ship can go there and sail from Galveston will be the Dream? I don't mind though since I haven't tried Dream class, and might be better if Breeze will be avaliable because such many people "vote" it as the favorite ship.

I just looked and it appears that both Carnival Dream and Carnival Legend both have itineraries available from Galveston! It's our goal to get on Carnival Dream as the namesake of the class, so maybe we'll have to look at these bookings... Both Rocky and I really liked Legend, but we also really like the Spirit-class ships, so we might be biased. ;) -mark
