Fantastic video, a treat for the eyeballs even though I cringe seeing myself on screen 😂 What a fantastic effort from all who attended from the group to celebrate 40 years of these amazing cars with a massive turnout yet again. It was truly a fantastic day. Retro Rides- we will be back!

You're a natural on screen! Normally we just hear your cackle or dulcet tones during a music track. Was such a great day and loved every minute of it.

I had a marathon blue golf driver, loved it apart from not going more than about 75mph.

Excellent! A very rare colour, as we mentioned. What was the reason it wouldn't do more than 75mph? Did the carb need setting up?

It's a really great event. Whilst our stand was incredible, there were so many fantastic cars at the show too. Really varied and something for everyone.

Thank you. Yeah the cars were of a really high standard. The Audi A2 is a quirky little rare car now! Sure to be a collectors item, I think. Way ahead of its time.

Most enjoyable video. I'd like to comment on a couple of the stand-out cars, but I'll refrain, as each and every one on display is unique and therefore special. By the way, Jo, have you been approached ever, for presenting and/or voice-over work? I think you would be very good at either/both.

Thank you! The cars are all fantastic in their own right, from the non turbo diesel auto, all the way to the factory fresh low mileage GTIs or heavily modified examples. I can't choose between them! As for Jo, I think I'm out of a job! 🥲

8v 1990 with abf now. A 1991 16v 4 door. All UK cars imported into Malaysia. Had a slight accident so the 1991 is under repair

Unfortunately not this year. Car is in a million bits and and we're not sure what's going on and at this rate, it won't be fixed in time!

Great video you guys, it was a really great day and long round trip,but myself and the car handled it all well. Hope there is a Part 2 to include the Dragon Green Golf…!! 😀🐉
