I have always loved Danica as Winnie, and more recently in her Hallmark movies. My heart is happy knowing that she is also my sister in Christ now. Merry Christmas, ladies!

Just like Danica, it was Candace who led me to our Lord and made me a Christian! She also gave me a bible too, it was her (in)Courage bible she released with Dayspring years ago. I've become a different person since I found my faith and have more purpose now in my life as well. I'll always be forever grateful to Candace for teaching her faith with me😘💜

This two got me in tears! When I started following Jesus and became a believer, my heart changed. That help me so much being an employee in retail. I have found that most people who come in angry is struggling with something. It has taught me to be kind, even through the most difficult times.

I remember the first Christmas after I'd become a Christian. I already knew the lyrics of all the Christmas carols - many of them to the 2nd and 3rd verses - and had sung them for years. But I heard and understood them for the very first time that Christmas. The songs had such life in them! What a rich experience that was!

Loved her in the Wonder Years when I was young, and was so happy to see her successful as an adult in Math, books, and as an actress ... often in the cheesy Christmas movies we love (and dark hair and dark eyes catch my eye faster than others ... BUT!) this makes me like her even more. And this is a very brave thing for her to come out publicly with in these times. Not just a smart pretty face on TV, but a real human being with depth. Lotta respect.

It's so hard. I've been devoted to God my whole life. But every time I hit hectic storms I resent Him for allowing this hurt and pain. I feel so guilty every time my faith withers through hardship. I've been waiting and praying for breakthrough 31years. And to have family that resent you makes everything harder.

@zellafincham4237 there is a lot of pain and hurt. I hope you find someone safe that you can talk with about it. I'm a counselor and went to tons of counseling. There is lots of help out there, but find someone you can feel safe with. I learned a therapy called EMDR and it has helped many ppl. It can help ppl to improve much quicker than talk therapy by itself, so it shortens the amount of time needed for things to get better. Everybody is different and so I tell ppl that results vary, but I see tremendous improvement in many ppl. I had a root canal a few weeks ago and decided to use a little of EMDR to help me un-tense and I got so relaxed that I dozed a little. (THAT is a miracle for me!) I had to cut out some bills a year ago, and internet/cable was one of the first that I cut, because it’s not a necessity. I SO miss the Christmas movies!!! Love both of you!

I'm so glad this podcast exists. It reminds me of the horrors I escaped once I left the church. The trauma from faux "Christians" who are only performative but not practical is ever lasting.
