Ceilings │ Marianne and Connell

Ойындар

Show: Normal People
Song: Ceilings - Lizzy McAlpine
Video Program: DaVinci Resolve
My friends recommended me the show so I decided to give the show a try and ended up binge-watching it. Really loved Marianne and Connell and I haven't made an edit on shows/movies in a while so this was fun to make until I had to render like ten times because the resolution kept refusing to be the correct size and I'm TIRED OF IT AND I DON'T WANT TO STAY UP ANY LONGER (i rather do projects i give myself than to sleep though oops)
Also, I like to think Connell and Marianne find their way back to each other because they always do, they just for real suck at communicating with each other, and Connell was lowkey a dick to her when they were younger & Marianne needed to stand up for herself more.
ANYWAYS Valorant frag montage and another video on gaming with friends are in the works as I'm gathering clips (March & April maybe May if I don't have enough) and I will most likely upload them in May since college is killing me right now.
will most likely change the thumbnail sometime this week

That's exactly right. I also think back to my Connellesque stupidity that almost lost me my future wife! The fact that people are still making edits of this show tells you everything. This is one of the best!

I liked this series and wish it was more than one season. They had really great chemistry, but Connell always had an undercurrent of almost embarrassment not wanting to admit to the outside world he loved Marianne, which was a part of his personality that made me sad

I love them together I have not read the book so I don't really know how it ended in the book. But how the series into me I still see them together. The way their story ran I cannot see them ever being apart for long. So I do believe that they would end up together that love is way too strong. Great edit

I don't think the romantic type of love is special. And I am started to think that the romantic type of love isn't real. I mean about more than half of romantic couples either break up with each other or divorce each other, while most platonic best friends remain friends until death. I think that having a platonic best friend is a lot better than having a romantic partner or spouse is. Having someone who's like a sibling to you is a lot better than having a romantic partner or spouse. Also, you are more likely to be much more closer to someone who's like a brother or sister to you than you would be with a romantic partner or spouse. People tend to fight with their partner or spouse a lot more than they do with a platonic best friend, and you never fight with your best friend the way you fight with your partner or spouse. Partners and spouses are just temporary. If you break up or divorce them, it's hard to go back to them. With your platonic best friend, you're going to make things work, because they are your best friend, they are your go to partner. It's always easier to make amends with them than it is with a romantic partner or spouse. Most people consider their platonic best friend to be their soulmate rather than their romantic partner or spouse.

Whilst I do agree with most of what you're saying (having frequented heartbreak lane often). When you're madly in love with another person, it's a different kind of love that you will not feel from a platonic friend. Revealing parts of yourself and being held by them is nowhere near the same. Sure, there's always that strong possibility of it not lasting, but on the off chance that it does (lots of lucky peeps out there) life is a little sweeter. Only having a child is more fulfilling.

@@king_julian327 Studies prove single, childless, women are the HAPPIEST demographic. Women are the happiest when single and focused on themselves. Statistically speaking, women are happiest when single and childless in today's times. Also, women can have friends and biological family that they share a life with. We as humans need the presence of other humans in our lives yes. But we can live alone. We don’t need romantic relationships to survive. We do need love and support, but it can be from friends and family. It does not need to be from a romantic partner. Studies also show that single women are far happier than their married peers, and that married women lose out in career earnings, career trajectory, health, and life expectancy compared to those single peers as well. Married women live shorter lives, and report lower levels of happiness than women who never marry. Single women live longer than married women. Also, according to many studies, women have higher rates of depression when married. Over half of all women today are single, by choice. Statistics indicate that single women tend to have the highest life expectancy on average.
