This is good, but what does it mean “all genders” can get equal rights? CEDAW is about stopping men oppressing women. Two sexes.

When women are oppressed by men and social structures, this is gender-specific discrimination and violence. Not only women and men, but all genders are affected by this form of discrimination and the logic of this violence.

both sexes aren't even the same, as an individual I can treat women right but it's impossible to have equality between a man and a woman since biologically they are not the same.

Taseen Ra'uf......in many areas it is possible...as a male way of thinking that is an age old "get out clause"....used to justify women not having equal rights and getting treated the same as men. We are talking about things such as women doing the same job as a man....and just as well....but the pay is less. Women not employed just because they have children...that sort of thing. In schools there used to be cooking for girls...and woodwork for boys only.. This is not right! It is to ensure women are not held back "just because they are a woman." and no other reason....
