Let me know how it goes! I thought about upgrading to prestige plus for kings island winter fest and I am planning on doing some driving through the Carolina’s soon too.

well hopefully it goes as good as everyone says. However I have heard from others the perks are only available at the home park. The plus will get you into the other parks but the perks like vip lounge, fast lane and vip area access may not work at the other parks. People who purchased prestige plus at KI were not allowed in the vip area at CP. So we shall see.

Hey Terry! One new thing I found out this past weekend was that Preferred Parking stops after Labor day, so we weren't able to use it as a perk during Halloweekends, so that was unfortunate. I hope they change that for the 2023 season. Interesting! I hadn't heard about the perks not being transferrable to other parks with Prestige+. I just found this on Cedar Points website under the FAQ : "Prestige receives exclusive benefits at the home park for which the pass is eligible. Prestige+, receives exclusive benefits at the home park the pass was purchased through, plus Unlimited Visits to ALL Cedar Fair Parks with a 15 % Food and Merchandise Discount at Other Cedar Fair Parks. All other Prestige benefits are non-transferable to other Cedar Fair parks." So it sounds like your right! Thats a huge bummer! However, I loved the ability to just cruise into the VIP lounge during a busy Saturday at Halloweekends, grab a drink, and rest for about 20 minutes with some "free" snacks at my home park , Cedar POint. I am looking forward to the Water Park VIP lounge for next year, so Ill be sure to be there and get some footage when it opens in 2023. The fast lane is also great for us, so I can hop on a quick roller coaster while my wife hangs out with the kids for 15 minutes. I honestly didn't even use it during Halloweekends since there was so much other things to do besides the coasters.

Hey Nate. Caught up with u again. Any thing new on TTD??? We’re a CP alumni and belong too that group. There’s a page on there stating what they plan too do. Too much to text. But a lot of changes too make it safer but the structure itself will remain the same height. Saw a review of SMC but waiting for yours. Yours are more into covering all aspects and making it interesting. I’ve been there many times in its hay day. It truly was and is now again 1st class with improvements still going on. There is one reviewer I cant stand. I don’t want too leave it on u r page for obvious reasons. Looking forward too future reviews. Best Wishes. Make everyday a good day.

Hey Darryl, I haven’t heard anything new yet on TTD . They have placed walls around the ride and staff has been seen “working” on it. Nothing too special yet. Yes I have booked my stay there and I ll have to make sure the restaurant is finally open .

Hey Nate. Short one but informative. Frontier town has really changed for the better over the years. That VIP lounge was nice. The improvements there making are impressive getting too look like Disney which is a good thing. It’s truly amazing the positive changes there making in the park. I’m sure some folks won’t like the change but you can’t please everybody. The pass you have does that include all CF parks ?? A lot of good perks ???

Hey Darryl! Thanks for watching! Yes, I agree that frontier town is now my favorite place in the park. With farmhouse and the two best coasters, it’s hard to beat. Camp snoopy is also close by for the kids. We just got the regular prestige pass which only includes cedar point. The prestige plus pass includes all the parks, like platinum. Ed might upgrade since we will probably go to winter fest at kings island again this year.

So how much is the VIP/Prestige? For myself I used to go to CP for a decade with season passes. I haven’t been in 8 years…. So thinking about spending more for a ticket to be able to get the most out of one maybe two days. Is it worth it as I don’t want to stand in lines as I’m not in my teens, 20’s, or even 30’s. Yet I want to made the day as best as I can for my daughter and I.

Hey Steve! Thanks for watching! It looks like the prestige pass is $350 based on CPs current pricing : www.cedarpoint.com/season-passes To me, I wouldn’t splurge on it if just going for a couple days. I recommend getting prestige if you are going to be attending multiple days with smaller duration visits. It’s nice to head out to cedar point after work, grab some food, ride a ride (1 fast lane plus per visit) , and maybe see a show or an attraction. I love the perks, but I don’t think you would get the full value/advantage in a couple days. I think we visited almost 20 days last year, but we never did a park open to park close day since we know we could just come back whenever we wanted. We also tried to avoid crowded days. Like going on a Thursday after work before kids or out of school or after they are back in school.

Hey Daryl! Sorry for the slow response! We had a busy September and didn't get much time to post! I just completed our Halloweekends video here : kzread.info/dash/bejne/aYJmzdmfoc-4ZtY.html and I am half way through editing the Sawmill Creek Video! I was just at Cedar Point on Saturday, and they have the launch fully removed. It "appears" like they are going to keep the coaster, give it an LSM launch instead of the Hydraulic Launch and a rebranding for next year, at least thats the leading rumor right now. I have some footage of it in my Halloweekends video above if you like! Stay safe! I was in Orlando the week before the storm, so I hope you and your family were able to stay safe! I had some coworkers that had to travel home to be with family since it was so severe! Thanks again for watching and for the comment! Question - if I buy the season unlimited FP, do i have to go get a band every time I go or is it something I can show on my phone?

Hey Kristen! Thanks for watching and great question! If you buy the unlimited fast lane plus you still have to stop at one of the fast lane locations to get your wrist band for each visit. You just show your phone to them and they will get you a wrist band for the day.

Hey Monica, Guest services gives you a receipt for a single use fast lane each time you visit. For example if you went this Saturday, you could get the receipt skip the line on one fast lane ride. But if you didn’t use it on Saturday, it would not be valid for any other day. So you get one skip the line per visit, only valid on that day for the whole season. Hope this helps!

I just wanted to let you know that I emailed cedar point specifically about the bring a friend passes for 2022 and they responded that prestige pass holders have 2 each for this year and then renew for 2023. You should be able to use bring a friend pass benefits right away.

Thanks for commenting! Yeah I feel like there is big divide in people who like prestige and people who don’t. I feel like a lot of people think it’s too expensive, but it’s not meant to replace the gold pass. If it priced lower, everyone would get it and it wouldn’t really be VIP if everyone had it. I think the target audience for prestige are people that want a premium experience every time they visit. But I feel you. It’s a big jump from Gold pass price wise.

Hey Nate. Because KD is about a 2 hour drive from us and Carolwinds a nice weekend trip we are considering it. We have season passes too BGW which includes there Halloween and Christmas Town functions. We’ve been to CT many times and it’s fantastic. We go many times during the Holidays. We stay in Williamsburg for the weekend as it has a lot of Holiday functions. I’ll check with the CF chain too evaluate which one works for us. With the new BW area we are planning a visit. Driving long distances is becoming harder as night driving as we age isn’t what it used to be. Toledo is a 10 hour drive from here. Best wishes looking forward too more reviews

@@darrylpeake2998while it’s not a scam I feel very annoyed. The value of the prestige pass feels very underwhelming and the devaluing of my gold pass also upsets me greatly.
