I have worked as Mechanical Engineer at GE Transportation in USA where diesel electric locomotives are manufactured. Pakistan Railway uses many GE locomotives. Your vlog of CDL is interesting. Greetings from USA.

Very informative vlog. I don't think many people knew about this workshop; railway carriage factory is well known but I, honestly, did not know about this setup. It seems well established and well equipped loco workshop. Great effort on your part 👍

Great coverage on Central Diesel Locomotives Workshop, Rawalpindi. Pakistan Railways has always been neglected and least covered Govt owned organization thats so crucial for a country's economy. Pakistan has such huge engineering / industrial potential but never utilized to its maximum. I really hope CDL people has the access to technology / tools / IT and all thats necessary for meeting new challenges. Hats Off and the best to Team CDL in the maintenance and upkeep of the Railway engines !

Brother, I've till now watched quite a few of your videos. And it really breaks my heart to see how professional these technical people of railways are. Including drivers. And yet PR is falling so much behind it's natural progression. Urdu mein kahu to baat kuch aisi banay ge: پاکستان ریلوے ایک ایسا گھوڑا ہے جسے گدھے چلا رہے ہیں۔ یہاں گھوڑا ریلوے کے technical ملازمین اور گدھے administration from top to mid level
