CDC: Tips From Former Smokers - Bill B.: Life Is So Different
Bill started smoking as a teenager-and ignored his doctor's warning that smoking could make his diabetes much worse. In this emotional video from CDC's Tips From Former Smokers campaign, Bill explains how much his life changed. He quit smoking before he turned 40, but not before losing a leg, kidney function, and the sight in one eye. Bill died from heart disease at age 42.

It's a good thing you hid them, your Mom is just narrow minded about change for the better.

Thank you Bill for having the courage and strength to share your powerful message. Smoking will rob you of your years of life and significantly diminish the enjoyment of your life. When you life with diabetes and add smoking, your ability to avoid diabetic complications becomes virtually impossible.
