Had Hulu for about 6 months, with "no ads", which actually has ads on the live tv. Sometimes the commercials can be fast forwarded thru, but most often not. User interface is way too complicated, and even now we still have problems finding desired content. Only have it for live local news, Fox Business News, and SEC football. Cost of about $55/month is way too much and will be signing off Hulu this month and going to another source for football. Can now get so much Fox News and Fox Business News on KZread that I no longer need Hulu.

    C. K. Good question. I went from $35 to either $40 or $45 and the last one went up to $50. I never had HBO included in my plan, but it was only a $5/mo add on which was great. Not as many Live HBO channels were included with it tho, but the on demand worked great.

This is why I hate and avoid anything AT&T. They constantly find ways to screw over their customers and are all about the almighty dollar. They also have the worst customer service of any company that I've had to deal with and it isn't even close. They don't even try and despite the decades of complaints have never done anything to improve their customer service in all branches of their businesses.

LovethisNation, why did you accept this $15 GoBig package increase? I fought for mine dating back to Nov. 30, 2016. I've kept all original hard copies & recorded grandfathered contracts signed by 3 DTVN managers. DTVN has "attempted " twice in 2 yrs to increase my GoBig package fee but after I presented them with my original contract and threatened them with breach of contract through the FTC, TX ST ATTY GEN OFC, FCC, and BBB,....DTVN apologized and backed down! Find your original contract and defend your $35 GoBig and $5 HBO grandfathered monthly fee. Don't allow this DTVN bullying! Keep fighting! Good luck!

I think AT&T may have an error in their automated emails. I think they are trying to let people know that the $10 credit per month promotion is coming to an end but the system is telling them that the price will be what it would currently be if you're not on the grandfathered plan. My recommendation is to check your account under account settings to see what it says your next bill will be.

They promised that the plan would stay at $35 but since then, as another KZread commenter here said, the price has increased. It is now $45 a month. Do you know if at&t will be changing this plan? I think programs like Comcast's "Internet Essentials" really feel like a kick in the balls to middle income Americans.. I agree with it for elderly and veterans but not for low income across the board. Maybe its because I live near Massachusetts which is a total welfare abuse state. I see so many in MA that choose not to work yet are given food/housing/healthcare for free. They get it for $9.95 but your average middle income person has to pay 5X to 8X more for the lowest option.

$9.95 is good but $40 for gigabit fiber is better and I’ll stick with that cause I can have 200 HD Netflix streams 😆

@@ArnoldNathan They didn't warn me either. I was paying $90/mo for second tier internet speed and second tier DTV(whatever got me Disney, Nick,History). Internet is $40/mo so I was paying $50/mo for the DTV. My bill jumped to $135/mo AFTER being assured my rates would remain the same after my 2 year promotional rate contract was finished. They kept their word for two years but won't honor it now. I'm keeping the internet but they are sending me a box to return their DTV equipment. No loss really as I don't watch it much anyway.

I spent hours today looking for a better package deal and still am not happy. I received my monthly ATT billing email today and it went up $62 ! Went from $137 to 199 because the promo ended. They never informed me the promo was ending! Rip-off! Negotiated slightly downgraded plan and price, and they did take $50 off current bill, but that is prorated partial. So next months bill will still include partial rip-off price, along with new rate. I called Spectrum because of an ad but their prices aren't any better! Frustrated!

My DirecTV Now promotion is ending, so I'll be switching to Hulu + Live TV. I would have been OK paying the $50 for the grandfathered DTV Now package I had, but they lost CBS and ABC so I'm moving on.

I hadn't heard of the Essentials plan from Comcast. I'd always hear about a similar plan with AT&T. I forgot what speeds were with AT&T's plan, but unless I'm desperate, I'll stick with my $45 prepaid internet from Comcast, which has up to 24mbps download, and 1mbps upload.

Well we already have: HULU commercial free and ESPN+ .. and we're going to have Disney+. It'll be interesting getting any deal and canceling and resetting them up .. to "me" a flip of a coin if it's worth it .. considering the history + favorites + setups on ALL devices.

My 82 year old mother has faster home internet than I do, barely uses the internet, and I own a Data Center. Go figure. We think it's hilarious.
