Crazy how times flies, i ran into your CCMA videos last year early summer. I gave the exam everything i had i was soo exhausted but i had to do it. I screamed like crazy I nearly lost my voice when i found out i passed 6/22/23. Im studying for the Phlebotomy exam, then unto my bachelors. Dont give up!! Thank you Ms. K!!

yes same boat here I graduated in 2014 and worked private clinics for the past 10 years and got Paid very well! now I am applying for a hospital MA position and they require me to be registered or certified Nationally so yes you can work without being certified all you need is a school certification

I passed my CCMA and graduated in July of 2022, 5 months pregnant with twins, and went through a lot. I did NOT feel prepared for the test for recert next month because i haven't been able to use my knowledge, and I had a 4.0! You have made me see I forgot a lot less than I thought. Thank you for this. I will watch more videos up until time.....Wish me luck!

Thank you for your videos I found them really helpful. Just took the CCMA for the first time and passed. I must say it was not as hard as I expected in fact I found a lot of the questions asked to be general knowledge well for someone that has been in and out of the medical field. I purchased the NHA study material and barely used them as did my classmates. However I will say if anyone does purchase the study material focus on the content and not the questions because I may have seen one or two questions that came directly from the study materials. Lastly I found a lot of the content on the exam I just took yesterday to be more so front office questions which was very surprising. But anyways I passed with a 414 so good luck to all that is preparing maybe I’ll do a video about my experience.

Omg Ms.K I passed my CCMA exam by watching you videos and it helped explains things I could not get a good grasp on! I took the updated exam for 2024 and the last 2 videos with content for the 2024 exam helped me focus on what was slightly different. You’re doing amazing work! Good afternoon, the first question in this set asks for the appropriate angle of the needle in a Routine Venipuncture, however the answer is 15-30 degrees. So, if they include both acceptable answers, how does one know which they want?

Hey Fred… no I’m not too familiar with any physical books. I usually just recommend the online study guide on the NHA website. They may have something on billing and coding. I would search on Amazon and look at the books with excellent reviews.

180 is the number of questions on the CCMA. 500 is the scoring. You need a 390 out of 500 to pass.

would definitely like to say a lot of this material is not on the exam. maybe abt 2-3 questions from ur playlist were on the modified 2024 exam. the questions on the current exam are very strange and seem unrelating to the study guide/ccma scope of practice however its incredibly easy u really don’t have to study just know ur positions fowlers, sims etc. & you’ll get it first try. the strange questions will be off putting & make you feel more stressed that you should.

You are absolutely right that these questions were not on the exam. This is why I stress studying the content and not the questions. The things you are mentioning like the positions are some of the foundational things that I stress studying because when you know these things, it doesn’t matter what question you get. When you know it, you know it.
