    NGL, this is one of those episodes that a majority of the people I know dislike, that I actually enjoy. Sure the kids being obsessed with money like crazy got kinda tiring, but I personally found it to be rather relatable and fun enough for what it was. And the eventually progression of the kids coming to their senses and working together was nice. Also Lynn Sr pretending to be “Sharon DeMoney” was both kinda nice but also kinda dumb. I guess I’m just weird like that. 8/10

    I understand one of the reasons why people hate this episode due to the dad’s plan being convoluted, but I honestly liked it because it was before episodes where Luan was revealed to have a job (Lori only had that job in “The Waiting Game” to pay for a dress to her school dance) and it was still a season 1 episode showing how most of the siblings fight over certain things in their house due to being a big family.

    This episode is actually pretty good! It has some funny moments, and I like how the kids teamed up in the end after realizing that fighting was not going to help them find the money. And it was especially funny when Leni showed how smart she could be sometimes. 8/10

    Another "gem" of season one. The true sad part about this episode is that it comes right after "For Bros About To Rock" - the episode that made Luna stand out and everyone come to the conclusion that she's the best sister who is nicest to Lincoln. Too bad by the very next episode, she's as prepared to punch him over a quarter as the rest of them are.

    That part always puzzled me. Luna was super chill and supportive in the episode that comes before this one, only to be like “Hand over the quarter, bro” in the next one. Good thing “Yes Man” struck the right balance of being a great older sister and wanting money at the same time.

    @SteamTeamRedubUK That's a key problem with the early seasons. The status quo was king, and any character development was undone by the start of the next episode.

    Well here’s the good thing. The show’s episodic. (Except when it isn’t. *cough* White Hare referencing Heavy Meddle! *cough*) So you can basically change the order of the episodes to your liking. Either just for preference or for making your own headcanon timeline.

    This was definitely one of the more crazier episodes I’ve ever seen. But I agree that it was handled in a rather confusing manner. While I do understand the kids’ mentality and that, they truly deserved to be punished for their ridiculous behavior, and the fact that they weren’t was just like, “Huh?🤨”. Lynn Sr definitely didn’t think this one through enough. While the siblings cooling down and teaming up at the end was the best part of this episode, as well as Leni’s badass quote, I definitely felt like the reveal of the parents knowing of this and tricking their kids was definitely the biggest let down ever. Had this all been legit, and if the kids got rightfully punished, then this could’ve been a little more tolerable. Overall, I do understand why this episode truly isn’t beloved. While I don’t hate it as much, I don’t replay it as much either due to every factor stated here. Excellent review home slice, and I hope you have a nice Easter today.😊❤️🐰

    This episode was pretty bad. All the kids were fighting for was money and they all get sent up to the attic which they deserve can find a letter that has the original owner of their house saying that if they work together they’ll find some money, so guess what they all decide to do try to find the money themselves at first and everything is calm but what’s Lincoln found out and arrested sister find out guess what happens again Yep they fight again and they get sent back to the attic again Then Lincoln found another letter, and this time everyone including Lincoln was fighting to try to find the money and holy crap It is very annoying and especially it makes no sense, because we clearly see Lori and Luan have jobs previously and Luna probably makes money to go to like a mini concerts like the café and stuff like we see her done before mostly later in the series, so why were they fighting for money I can understand some of the younger siblings, but definitely not the older sisters, especially since they have jobs then the final gets way too much and then they realize that finding it’s just going to make things worse and they found the last note attached to Lily‘s diaper and then they found the excellent marks the spot in the backyard and they dig for it and it turns out to be $500 and they get rewarded for some reason this makes absolutely no sense they were clearly fighting throughout the entire episode literally every Siblings except for Lily obviously deserves to be punished and the dad give up his bonus money so he can teach his kids a lesson which makes no sense at all and how does he know where to put those places where his kids can find it it’s never explained and he gets punished for clean up the attic. Seriously what the hell the kids deserve to clean up the house not Lynn Senior, so yeah, this episode is pretty bad and definitely one of the worst episodes of season 1

    Worst episode of The Loud House ever. The Loud Kids (aside from Lily) are unlikable. They wrecked the house, while fighting over money, they should deserve punishment, not rewards. Plus Luna is such a big jerk in this episode as she blast Lincoln with her speakers, I don't know why she should do that, since after my favourite episode, "for bros are about to rock," which it's sister episode. This episode is written by Chris Savino, and he did an awful job.

  • @JesusMartinez-rr2ry
    @JesusMartinez-rr2ry3 ай бұрын

    Money can indeed bring the worst out of anyone. Just look at Mr. Krabs for example, since he literally sold his best employee for 62 cents. The Loud children are no different, as they were wrecking their own house just for a quarter. Not even Luna can resists fighting the rest of her siblings. Meanwhile, Lincoln is being the most tolerable character, as he tries to restore order, despite these attempts being futile. However, despite all of this, I like seeing one of the few intelligent Leni moments throughout the series, as she uses a hairpin to unlock the briefcase. Along with that, seeing the Loud children get excited and going crazy after finding the money Lynn Sr. buried delights me very much, especially Luna rolling sideways. But still, I'm giving this episode 4/10.

    I hate to say this, but I actually enjoyed this Season 1 Loud House episode for some odd reason. Especially compared to "The Green House" (another Season 1 Loud House episode), "Brawl in the Family," "A Dish Come True," "Kings of the Con," "House Flip," and "No Such Luck," at least this Loud House episode had a moral that was portrayed correctly, didn't had too many cruel moments, and even had more moments that I enjoyed more in "It's a Loud, Loud Loud, Loud House" than the six mentioned Loud House episodes. Sure, It's a Loud, Loud, Loud, Loud House is not a great Loud House episode, but overall, it's not an awful Loud House episode, to be honest. Score: 8.5/10💲💵💰💸🤑🪙 Quote: "In the words of McGruff the Crime Dog: 'Remember, kids. Greed kills. And this Loud House episode does mean by that literally.' "

    This episode among a couple of Season 1 and 2 episodes is why I'm not convinced by the perception some people have that Loud House went complete downhill by Season 3. While I wouldn't say the later seasons are complete perfection, I feel like the show hit a good stride with Season 3. Nice review, btw.

I still don't have any issue with them even though I do acknowledge them. Technically Lincoln was the innocent one in this scenario because he inadvertently found the quarter, and I believe he was unfairly punished alongside his sisters Because technically they attacked him and yeah he was most likely trying to fight back to defend himself but I still believe that he should’ve gotten the money at the end instead of the sisters because again he was unfairly punished by his parents and his sisters had the gull to blame him for them cleaning up the attic When it was their own fault I mean it if you watch the episode Lincoln inadvertently found a quarter and tried to hide it because he knew how violent and aggressive his sisters can get with money and the sisters smirked at Lincoln with a devious grin that says “If we’re going to be punished by our parents then you’re going down with us” Now yes Lincoln does deserve a bit of punishment in the end but not as severe or to the extent as the Loud sisters do, because he was at first unfairly dragged into the Loud sisters fight because one of them grabs Lincoln and pulls him into their fight cloud and Lincoln doesn’t even get a chance to explain his side of the story as Rita and Lynn Sr angrily force him to join his sisters in cleaning the attic as punishment so yeah this in a way was technically a Lincoln torture episode And this is indeed one of the worst episodes of the season not the series, because they’re are plenty of Loud House episodes that are even worse than this one if anything I’d give this episode a 3.5/10

    So, this one is not good, now it’s not terrible, there are many worse episodes form the first season alone and compared to those this one is fine but that’s more about those episodes weakness then this one’s strengths. I don’t like Lincoln that much in it he started the whole “search for money” thing and he and his sisters went crazy over ANY amount of money that they found. I also don’t like the sisters; they went INSANE In trying to find the money and were unlikable. While I liked that the whole thing was a plan by Lynn to get the teach the kids to share money, I wonder how effective it could be and how he thoguht it would work cause he attached the final clue to Lilly’s butt but how did he KNOW that they would be together at the point? If he had walked by and “drooped” the final clue then It would make more sense, but it left a little too much to chance if he JUST left it on Lilly’s butt. There are things I liked, I liked the kids working together at the end, them agreeing to split whatever money they find, Leni line of “there more to my head the just air”, as stated before the reveal that Sharon DeMoney (which I didn’t get until right now cause I thought it was Sharon DeMonet) was made up by Lynn to get the kids to work together and share the money they found. It also not nearly as annoying as truly bad episodes as this at least had a good message and the slapstick is a little more evenly distributed rather than happing solely to Lincoln. One way to improve would have been to have Sharon DeMoney’s “treasure” to have been her family or something like that. I know its schmaltzy but I could have accepted it from this show. Still I don’t think this is bad, it not good and it’s a caser to being bad then it is good (in fact it site just above bad on my tier list) but I guess I don’t hate it. 4/10

    I don’t really know what you’re looking for in a show like this. Isn’t the kids fighting the whole point of the show? If you don’t like watching them fight, then maybe you shouldn’t be watching this show in the first place. I’ve seen arguably way worse behavior from other kid characters in other animated shows, but nobody ever seems to complain about them. This is something that irritates me about every so-called “fan” of The Loud House. Either they’ve never had siblings of their own, or they’re unable to stomach even a little bit of conflict. Everything has to be sunshine and rainbows and sugar and spice. If there’s ever any fighting amongst the characters the episode is automatically the most atrocious piece of media ever created. Also, I want to point out once again that you’re focusing way too much on little details that shouldn’t make or break an episode. Yes, the show should be consistent, but they’re not obligated to have everything make sense at the expense of basically everything else. For me, personally, I really like this episode because I feel it showcases what The Loud House is about: eleven siblings that don’t always get along, but still love each other. I also appreciate this episode for having some humorous moments, but nobody ever seems to mention that. No, all anyone ever does is complain about how mean-spirited this show is (even though it’s pretty tame compared to some cartoons from the 90s and early 2000s). All anyone wants from a Loud House episode is for it to be eleven minutes of the characters telling each other how much they love each other. I’m GLAD I stopped watching new episodes, because I’ve had enough of the fan base of this show.
