Ойын-сауық

Welcome back, Loud House fans! In today's retro review, we check out that one episode where Leni is said to be out of character, but is it possible she's not? I also explain how this episode could have used the same plot, but with characters more suited for the conflict. So grab your golf club and enoy!

    Remember leni wants to make people happy in her life 1. She saved Lincoln's reputation at school in along came a sister 2. She threw a surprise party for her mother in no spoilers 3. She try to make her friends get along in everybody loves leni And now she's trying to thwart lori's college plan so that she can't lose her precious little activities with lori

    This was a great review. I will say this, though; while I did enjoy the episode for what it was, if the episode had Lola go down the path Leni did, and play out the way you said it, it would've been a better episode. Heck, maybe one of the best episodes of the series

    I’ve been talking to a lot of fans about swapping sisters in this episode and the majority agree this would’ve been more suited for Lola. I’m quite impressed.

    I’m glad you enjoy it. As for me... so I saw She’s All Bat as the Don’t You Fore-Get About Me of season 5. And what I mean is... I don’t think it was a smart idea to have Leni try to thwart Lori’s college plans the way she did. I get Leni does not think things through, but like, I feel like she would consider her own sister’s dreams. What’s worse is that if Lori had not told Leni they can do these things together, Lori’s scholarship would’ve been lost. It’s a shame, actually. Because the set up was very strong. Seemed like something that could use some actual emotion. Leni already was in tears about half way, why not focus more on the emotional impact it would leave on her during the second half? I mean, sheesh! This girl is literally a year younger than Lori, and they have been shown to be close! So it would make more sense to show more of that emotional impact! Maybe Ronnie and Lincoln could’ve seen Leni cry, which would lead them to talk to her about her problems. Then, Lori would overhear Leni, and she would have a talk to her back! But as it stands... this episode was pretty average.

    That’s a fair assessment. I get what you’re saying. There were some missed opportunities in this episode, but on the merit of learning to accept change and realize it’s not the end of the world, it was still good enough.

Much appreciated. 🙂 And yes, Luna is my favorite too with Leni coming in at second.

    This episode was pretty mediocre. Like you said, Lola would've fit a lot better with this plot. Lincoln hanging with Ronnie Anne didn't add much to the story. Also, I'm surprised Lori didn't try to beat up Leni for sabotaging her. She forgave her too quickly. The thing I want to talk about the most is Leni. Like you said in the video, Leni apparently has a hard time accepting change. Awhile back. I heard many fans making theories of Leni being on the autism spectrum. Like in "Driving Ms. Hazy" Lincoln have to say things like "your good side" to help her to learn how to drive. In "The Boss Maybe" Leni treated her siblings like customers. Her brain's apparently wired differently from a normal person. There was a fanfiction story about Leni called "My Sister Leni" It's about Leni growing up with autism and going through struggles in her life. Lori had to look after her while going through her own struggles growing up. I asked Chris Savino, "Is there any truth that Leni is autistic? He debunked that by saying, "Not a shred." I would 100% agree with him if he never got fired. Although he created the show, his words don't hold much of a precedence anymore. Then again, there are times when Leni is really social, and have many friends. What do you think?

    What you’re saying does make a lot of sense because I always contemplated the same thing. She could be like me and have high functioning Aspergers, and pretty much everything you said is reflective of my theory.

    That's an average episode for me. I was going to be on a tangent about this since I thought Leni's character would be ruined, but like with Kings of the Con, it did not fuel my anger enough

  • @SteamTeamRedubUK

    @SteamTeamRedubUK

    2 жыл бұрын

    I don’t think her character was ruined in this. Like I mentioned in my review of “Hurl, Interrupted” in regards to Lynn’s character, “Fore-get” showed a side to Leni we rarely see and it does give a bit more realism to who she is. I understand why a sizable portion of the fandom think this episode is bad for her, but in my opinion it doesn’t make her as one dimensional as she usually is. I’ll also go so far as to say she was a lot more cunning and intelligent than she was in “Schooled”, but that may be a bit of a stretch.

    While I do understand the confusions with this one, and while I do agree that it could’ve made more sense with Lola and Carol, this episode is so relatable to many of us. I have an older brother that had to move out when he got married. I was very devastated as he was with me, my whole life, but he told me that he would message me everyday and sometimes has the time to visit me and my family. So while it was hard at first, I got used to it. Awesome review, homie.👍

    Yeah, this is another top 15 for me (low on the list thorough)…funny thing is when I first saw it I didn’t think it was terrible (my opinion has seen changed obviously) Len is why too OOC in this, while intelligence has NEVER been one of her character traits kindness has and she doesn’t display that in this episode at all. I don’t think she would ever try to intentionally sabotage her sister’s chance at getting into her dream college. Especially when she know how much golfing men to Lori. I get missing your siblings, I had three brothers growing up and now I’m the only one who lives at home, and I do miss them but that does not excuse Leni actions in this. My idea to improve this episode would be to make it about the family (or at least he parents Leni and Lincoln) dropping Lor off at Fairway. They walk around and lor is obviously excited to be there the parents are happy but sad (in a funny way) because she is growing up. Leni is sad Lori is leaving but is keeping it to herself because she doesn’t want to ruin this for her. Near the end Leni can almost break down causeing Lincoln to ask her what’s wrong and she confesses that she is going to really miss Lori and don’t want her to go but hasn’t said anything because it would be too selfish. Lincoln says he understand, he going to miss her too but it’s not like they will never see Lori again, they still have phone calls, holidays, and trips/vacations where they will get to see her. Its okay she will miss her, and she should tell Lori about it. Lori overhears this says she will miss her family too and promises to try to call as often as she can.it could be the Rita, Lynn Sr, Lori or any of the other sisters, heck they could do it as a group) I agree in theory with your idea of lola being the one who runis lori hcnaces but i fear that could cause her hatebase in the fandom to grow which not something that should happen. 2/10
