    Still thought it was good. Surprised how basic you start (this is a helmet and these are the types etc) you really do approach it as if the students know nothing. I would have thought that anyone interested in doing it would have done some reading up on certain things like myself.(a lot of reading !!) BUT I guess you have to not presume they know nothing and start at the very beginning !

    CBT in a week then onto mod1+2 after that's complete :) wish I lived closer I'd definitely use you guys as I've learned so much from your videos! question for you about leathers how tight should they be as I've tried a few different jackets and trousers on and I'm just not feeling comfortable at all always feel too tight or too loose in the chest when I get into riding position. Thanks :)

    Leather stretches/gives and becomes looser so I would always wear them snug at first. They do get more comfortable as time goes on.

    +choochoochooseyou She was/is just another statistic in the motorbike world, danger to herself and others around her. Personally i wouldn't of accepted her attitude towards the instructor and not acknowledging the seriousness of riding. CBT should be classed as a test i think, too easy.

  • @Vortigon

    @Vortigon

    to be fair the instructor is making the basic mistake of looking for constant feedback every 5 secs with his yeah?, yeah?.. even for rhetorical questions. you cannot teach like that. people will switch off if you want some acknowledgement every few seconds like that, it shows inexperience as an instructor and will generally irritate your students to the point they stop learning

    I think CBT should become a test in the sense that you can fail or pass. The less attention you pay here in the classroom and out on the yard, the less you'll pay on the road as you are not taking in the information being taught to you. Unless the girl's awareness picked up 100%, I'd not even do the yard exercise with her.

    I'm not sure what your definition of a waste of time is but, given that most of the instruction can not be heard apart from by those actually on the course ie the two people sitting in the room, I think we'll agree to differ on that one.
