Everything youve mentioned as something that is often goal for people with adhd is a struggle of mine as well! I hope I can get to a therapist soon to possibly get diagnosed or if not I can just get help that I need regardless. Thank you for this! It makes me less scared of therapy.

CBT helped immensely with my insomnia and I’m really hopeful that it can help with my ADHD. Thanks for sharing!

WAY too fast for me! Good ideas but speed of delivery overwhelmed me.

Sticky notes are not CBT skills….

Thanks for your comment! Sticky notes can help some (not all) people stay organized. CBT also includes skills training like using stickies and other strategies. You can read more about CBT for ADHD here: www.choosingtherapy.com/cbt-for-adhd/

Like everything you have mentioned is all stuff we have tried a thousand times. Would you like to look at the physical schedule i have posted on the wall or the one in my phone? None of that is CBT…. You really need to rename this video. This has nothing to do with CBT. Tell me about radical acceptance, check the facts and opposite react, or wise mind. Actual CBT skills.

Thanks for your feedback! It's important to keep in mind that ADHD is not a one-sized fits all approach and what works for you might not work for someone else. If I could stay organized and manage distractions I wouldn't have ADHD. Perhaps quadriplegics should practice wiggling their fingers and toes lol.
