But 90% + IAS come from either CBSE or ICSE with economically affluent background.I would rather say 95%+ . Moreover only IAS exam does not represent intelligence. It is actually a cramming and vomiting exam. It's complex and depends what matters and what not.

Sab IAS banane ke liye paida nahi hue na lekin. That's the problem with cbse. Sabko kuch chuninda career options dikhayi dete he. ICSE is the board where a child can actually choose for whatever he/she is interested in. Achha Chef bhi Bana ja sakta he aur accha Musicians bhi.

CBSE is best if u are aspiring for neet or jee exams since its based on NCERT( book followed by CBSE ian) but when it comes to extensive studies, knowledge and most importantly practical knowledge ICSE outshines...the ICSE people get a good global exposer since its syllabus matches with that of Cambridge, so if somebody is aspiring for research field or any other field than Indian government jobs, ICSE is best!!!!!! It provides practical as well as theoretical knowledge and that is what matters most... I am a proud ICSEian..

Icse schools only promote academics and running behind marks, Neet and JEE...I was in an Icse school..These schools severely lack extracurricular...Not all students want to pursue Science and academics so aggressively..Trust me, I am pursuing CA and I have seen many students from other boards doing better than me...When you put your kids to school, please understand that in life, Academics is not the only important thing. Please don't make your kids lose on opportunities of personality development by putting them into schools which extensively focus just on marks! My life would have been different, had I been to a cbse or a state board!

I went to an ICSE school for a year. It’s really interesting but too vast. You are dead tired the end of the day with all the assignments. I topped my grade but decided to move to cbse. They teach you just what you need and can actually remember . You have time to breathe . Read . Sleep. Loved cbse and would only recommend it. Regardless of how smart anyone is. Parents , closely watch your kids . Every child is different. If you decide on icse, make sure the school is reaaally good, otherwise it is going to be a disaster. ICSE during early years may be nice . But closer to 10th grade ( boards), you need to switch your kid to cbse if they can’t handle ICSE’s massive curriculum. It has nothing to do with intelligence. But exhaustion .

Yes You are Absolutely Right. In ICSE there is too much pressure especially in 9th and 10th standard. I remember when I was in 9th standard we had to prepare Assignments for all subjects. There were total of 8 or 9 subjects so 8 or 9 assignments. I Spent Half of my vacations Preparing Just the assignments Which at the end Have no Benefit in Mental development of a student. I think it was just wastage of Paper.

CBSE is better. Atleast A student Has Time For Recreation At the End of the day. In icse it is Just A rat race. In my view Icse is not Good For Average Students. As there is lot of Pressure on a student. I too studied in icse till 10th standard so I know the reality.

A myth Prevails in our Country That ICSE is Superior To CBSE and PSEB. But according To my Experience CBSE is the best of all. There is not too much pressure and even an Average student can cope with the syllabus without mental pressure. I always Rank CBSE above ICSE board no matter What. I believe in modern era Mental health is a Huge problem. And one should Not Burden one's Child With Too much Pressure Because at the end of the day. ICSE,CBSE Or PSEB doesn't matter. All that matters is Our Attitude and Hardwork.

@@hitapradhan5197 yes there is lot of pressure. But to be very Frank i think in life it doesnot matter which board or school you study in. At the end if a person wants to succeed he will succeed for sure. I know many candidates who studied in cbse or even PSEB board and Today have very lucrative jobs. Many of them have Cracked UPSC. Some years Ago people believed in this myth That only ICSE Students can Get Good Bands In IELTS. That myth Too is busted by many of my friends who studied in CBSE since Grade 1 till grade 12th and each one of them were able to get 8 bands in IELTS.

I've studied in CBSE board and I believe it's fine and easy but in CBSE it teaches us to write short answer and not vast. During university level it becomes a problem as they gives focus upon broader answers. On the other hnd; ICSE is tough but it's good for the kids University level where you have to study harder and write too much for getting good marks. I've faces this marking problem during My University level being a CBSE Student so I would prefer ICSE education for my Kids. Let them have little studying stress today from Nursery level but be settled in their future life with ease.

At this point i am not agreed. This year I enrolled my daughter in ICSE school for Grade-4(one of the famous schools in India).Till Grade-3 she learnt in CBSE school(one of the famous schools in India).I was under impression that ICSE syllabus is one step better or advanced.I am surprised by seeing that the whole syllabus(all subjects)of CBSE Grade-3 is just copied in ICSE Grade-4.It is like I am repeating Grade-3 of CBSE in ICSE Grade-4.Now (on a positive way of thinking i am considering it as a revision of 3rd standard as it was by the way taught online ). Will ICSE students lag behind by one grade of CBSE students. Have i made mistake?Pls. Elaborate about syllabus.

I agree with this point that ICSE books are excellent where maths or science the science book is much more elaborate and student who has studied in ICSE board even till class 10 have atleast the base built for CBSE class 11&12 . Yet I'll say it depends on teachers(how good and dedicated are they, regardless if any board,if teachers are not good then the benefits of ICSE can't be availed unless the student tries to read the books with extra effort, coaching, parents etc.) It also depends on Students calibre and self motivation to study, if ICSE is elaborative, we don't have much time to think on other things other than our syllabus. While CBSE syllabus till class10 is not much tough and students get time to think of innovation and creation, but again it depends on a students choice and hunger for knowledge. You can take example of STUTI KHANDWALA 2019 topper of all the competitive exams , if u see her profile , u will get to know she cracked all National and International Academic Olympiads and went twice to International Biology Olympiad, being a CBSE student. So both the board's have there own pros and cons

CBSE is a Secondary Education Board under the Ministry of Education, Government of India and conducts AISSE (Class X) and AISSCE (Class XII). NCERT is entrusted with preparing the study material for CBSE and primary sections. CBSE is not an exam but a Board which conducts exam and is not under NCERT. Similarly CISCE is the Council for conducting examinations like ICSE (Class X) and ISC (Class XII). ICSE is not a Board/ Council but an examination which is conducted by CISCE. Please check your facts before making a video.

For those who want to go for ICSE.. It's a difficult board to be precise . Scoring high marks is usually difficult. Too much of practical and project work for all subjects. Usually those students looking to pursue higher studies after 12th standard overseas, this is a good board.. to study. CBSE is a better option for competitive courses. Though the content is almost the same nowadays.

Well ICSE is tough but CBSE is told to be the toughest board if you don't know you can check, i am in CBSE and my friend is in ICSE, the syllabus of ICSE is one year behind CBSE, and is easier than CBSE, In 8th standard, they have 50 marks and we have 80 marks, I have economics since 9th whereas they have from 10th or 11th, I would prefer to go in ICSE because it's good at explaining and helps you understand well. And ISCE have better scoring point, even the concept is understood well there. But if you want to give neet, jee, UPSC or IPS exam(all competitive exams), then CBSE, because questions are based on NCERT (Which is book used by CBSE) Both boards are good, but it's depend on long term plans.

The "practical" knowledge about icse is completely wrong. As i have studied in both cbse and icse. The icse school which i studied in for 6 years had barely done any lab work and never took us to a single computer lab but they used to still charge us for it. Now the cbse school which i studied for 3 years on the other hand, had proper lab classes as well as computer labs along with libraries. Maybe the icse school I'm in isn't that good but according to my experience i would recommend cbse as it focuses both on studies as well as extra curriculum.

I don't agree completely. I myself is a kvian and now teaching in ICSE school.. What I have observed ICSE curriculum mainly promote things which is not necessarily benefit for child's cognitive and personality development. It lacks to identify childs true potential and I find it very restricted curriculum.. Whereas in CBSE, the curriculum less restricted, child can explore more through various co-curricular activities.. Otherwise the standard of teaching is more or less same, it may vary from school to school depends on school teaching faculty.
