Oh the seventies when the commercials asking for money or one for the local supermarket were sung so softly. 😁

OMG that Thursday night on CBS-TV! The Waltons, Hawaii Five-O, and Barnaby Jones! My family never missed them. And then a Polk Brothers commercial talking about how many homes are getting microwave ovens. Awesome.

I wanted to hear the most important thing that everyone wanted in a president that was so shocking. And then it was cut off.

I remember when they first came out but I wasn't able to afford one. but then I went home to see my parents and they had one.patolli used it for was to heat up things and I thought that cost a lot of money just to use it to heat something up. Now I use one every day. 😁

Interesting story, different location, an author, and a couple terrorists. Odd that the one brother wanted to believe the niece could still like him after learning he’s one of their captors. Good thing the Publisher’s nephew was on the ball and took action! Enjoyed 8/17/23.

Hearing about the 1980 Presidential run for the White House reminds me of how when I first took part in a simulated presidential election (I was in first grade), I foolishly wanted Jimmy Carter to stay in office. Can you believe that???

Embarrassingly, my first ever vote cast, in 1976, was for Jimmy Carter. Proudly, I voted for Reagan in `80 and have been Republican ever since. Although both Bush's were disappointing, they were still the best choice at the time.

Jimmy Carter, Mr. Inflation, gas lines? Like today’s Mr. Inflation, Joe the transparent one who is anything but transparent or honest. Inflation dishonesty, they exclude gas/fuel prices which impacts almost everything else, and food! He just doesn’t care, else he would have a great many tangible changes lowering inflation. He took over a good economy, lowest unemployment, inflation, highest job participation rates. He did promise to undo everything 45 did, thus a terrible economy with very high inflation.
